"I Get Around" is a song written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love for American rock band the Beach Boys. It was released as a single in May 1964 with "Don't Worry Baby" as its B-side and became the group's first number-one charting song in the United States. In the United Kingdom, it charted at number seven and was the band's first top ten single there. It was included as the opening track on their studio album All Summer Long in July 1964.

Absolutely amazing I can't think of enough good things to say about these guys. I would pay to see them live anywhere ! If you guys are reading this I used to be a concert promoter for many years. Advice ? Don't stop doing what you're doing just keep on doing it ! Remember music calms the savage beast ,,and it makes people happy !!

That is like the Beatles. Only recently, Paul McCartney admitted the Beatles don't know how to read music. Other people wrote down their songs in standard musical notation.
Most of us don't. Me neither. Actually it's more impressive when you don't have formal training. It's a gift from Elohim :) I love music so much. I can listen to it all day, play my guitar all day and just have music around me all the time. Nothing (except The Word) stimulates me like music.

I had some musical education, but I have the same problem with musical notation as dyslectic people have with letters: I can read the notes... one... by... one, but I can't possible read them and play at the same time. I do it all by ear, just like these brothers.

I read that there are 9 siblings in their family and ALL of them can both sing and play various musical instruments!! And none of them had any formal musical training. We certainly have a lot to look forward to. LOL, we should thank our lucky stars that their parents do not believe in family planning!!!

This song is considered pretty hard to do because of the different harmonies and that powerful high voice for a Male but wow this is amazing! Keep it up you’re super talented!!

Awesome, purchased the 45 RPM for 99 cents the day it was put on the record rack. Yes, I am 67.
I wore that 45 out when I was a kid. The other side was Don't Worry Baby, another great song.
James McCutcheon my cousin took me to the record shop and bought me the 45 because I heard Don't Worry Baby on the radio, it was the flip side and radio stations back then flipped the 45's. I didn't realize "I Get Around" was the A side..bonus for a 13 year old boy..met The Beach Boys twice during my radio career..Carl was a terrific warm human being..met their Mom too, Audrey Wilson..nice lady...😊
James McCutcheon I’m also 67 and know every falsetto note by Brian Wilson and these guys are freakin awesome. I’m also a lifelong Beatles freak and am astounded by what they’re replicating with their music.
@@weqrgyearhywq I still have the 45. Plus about 9 or 10 more 45's from the Beach Boys. All originals from the 60's. Pretty worn out, but still throw them on my turntable when I'm not on my flip-phone.

All of them can sing and play instruments! The most versatile band I've seen. They can sing Beatles, Bee Gees, Eagles, Beach Boys, Josh Turner. Hope to see Reo Bros. cover Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, which have great vocal harmony.

My late husband was Filipino, I believe that he would of loved your remakes, he grew up on these songs. He would of taken pride of this great talent from Philippines.

@Alt Delet : There exist much cover bands, and much of them are good, but they all are not the same like the beach boys. The spirit and the magic is missing, i can hear the song, but i cannot feel the song.
