      Same!!!!! I cannot wait to not have a $500 a month power bill 😂

    Love that you were able to get all of that equipment delivered even though it sounded like an eventful day. Looking forward to the upcoming content because that's going to be one super impressive array! Keep up the great work!

      Thank you! I am so excited to get working on this solar system.

    Holy moly that's a lot of solar panels!!! Is that going to completely cover the barn roof? Or did you get enough to have a secondary solar array elsewhere?

    • @ianmburke
      @ianmburke  Місяць тому

      It will cover the whole barn and two arrays on the house, and a few extra panels for any needed expansion projects

    Dude!! Ground mount this I’m telling you! Way better easier to maintain. Just a side note from your friendly solar installer lol

      I appreciate the advice, however to accommodate an array of this size I would be losing a lot of yard space. The roof is easily accessible and it is existing infrastructure so no need for a large ground mount installation which would require serious footings because I need to meet 150 mph wind speeds.

    Had question regarding chicken feeder video. Have not received a response in quite a long time

      Sorry I must have missed it! What was the question?

      Found it responded, it was in thread from a 3 year old video so I don't see those notifications unfortunately

    I have no idea what's going on, but nothing but 2:51 unskippable ads in front of this video...

    • @ianmburke
      @ianmburke  Місяць тому

      That's really weird?? But was the video able to play just UA-cam annoying ads? I bought UA-cam music/UA-cam red years ago which is now 'youtube premium' and it is literally the best purchase ever. Unlimited streaming music plus upload your own music, plus you get UA-cam with ZERO ads... One of the few purchases I would do over and over again.

    What the hell do you need to run with 47kw of panels? 36kw of inverter and 117kwh of battery? If anything please tell me your doing it as a off grid 3phase setup? I've been wondering how it would pan out.

    • @ianmburke
      @ianmburke  Місяць тому

      Three phase is one of the eventual steps! And the rest is for becoming grid independent, with the consideration of my eventual needs for more power

      @@ianmburke id wire it as 3 phase 120/208 now and your future proofed without the need to do a phase converter.
