Such an easy pattern with nice details. I actually planned to do a cowl neck on my version but decided i would try that in the future. I pray you and the family are starting to feel back to 100%😘

Well, since it's a knit pattern and the bodice is a close fitting style, it has negative ease. This means the finished garment measurements are designed to be the same size or smaller than your measurements. I measure at a 39-40 at the bust. I chose the size 41"bust" (only because I didn't want the garment to be too snug against my D cup breast, and these commercial patterns are generally drafted for a B cup). I could have selected the bust size 38/39" but I didn't want to do a full bust adjustment. I hope this helps.

Love how this turned out. Did you reshape the skirt or does it have a little swing to it? That part doesn’t show up in the picture, and I was going to add it, maybe overlay a skirt pattern. But if it does, I’m good! Very nice looking dresses, for sure. You look great. ❤
Not at all. I cut the pattern as is; I didn't reshape it at all.
Hi Tea, I love the dress and I love that fabric. I'm watching my grandchildren and they both are not feeling well. So I think I might have missed. What type of fabric that dress is made from. It is beautiful.😊
The tan fabric is a sweater knit with woven stripes on the face of the fabric, and the mauve dress is a sweater knit that also has lines or ribs on the face of the fabric. They were both purchased from Joann Fabrics. I tried to find the link on the website, but I couldn't find it. If I find it, I'll put it in this comment thread.
