Being a neocon in love with yourself "means never having to say your sorry."

Once again Prof. Bacevich shows insight, wisdom, and integrity. A class act is he.

It's so refreshing to hear someone described Cheney with the most accurate term there is: duplicitous.

Last I looked, super powers don't get to retire, they are FORCED to retire! We have reached the outermost limits of the efficacy of force. Why are we incapable of reimagining our abilities?

They weren't wrong: They just lied.

I think it's very clear we are not in Iraq or anywhere in the Middle East for humanitarian reasons....we are protecting American interest AKA oil, natural resources and private western banking.

Politicians always lie and have motivations for greed over doing good it seems. Absolute power corrupts absolutely as the saying goes. Even this since ancient days in similar ways.
Also with poverty comes slavery and with slavery, for example human trafficking, comes corrupt power more often than not.

Why do these interviews completely beat around the bush and miss the core motivations ? It's freaky

Funny to hear Moyers talk in this video...I remember in 1991, he was one of the people asking why we didn't go all the way to Baghdad and get Saddam Hussein, and then bring democracy and freedom to the Iraqi people. He even invoked WW2, saying that we brought democracy and freedom to Japan and West Germany...so why couldn't we do the same thing in Iraq...and why didn't Bush1 Want To? I wonder if he would remember saying that? I sure do...heard it right out of his mouth, on PBS. Times Change, I guess.

See UA-cam Video Title - Glenn Beck Says Words No One Ever Expected
I think he is the first Republican to admit the Iraq War was wrong. This video is only a day or so old at this time. I find his comments to be shocking but welcome.

This is you get when the Khazarians run your media, your key industries, kill your youth to their ends in the Middle East.
    Remember the USS Liberty.
