I'm sorry to say it, but seeing the Manhattan Mall, either in this video or in person, just makes me sad now, because I remember what the Mall was like back in the 1990s. It was full of stores and shoppers from the basement level (exiting to the 34th Street subway station) all the way to the top floor, where the Food Court originally was (before it was moved to the basement and then removed from the Mall altogether). I remember coming out of the subway station and into the basement floor of the Mall, and stopping to drop a penny into the big fountain, like many other people did. Taking the escalators all the way up to the top floor, shopping in the many different stores, including an Electronics Boutique (before it became GameStop), Suncoast Video, and the smallest Barnes & Noble bookstore I've ever seen, in a small store space on the floor just below the top floor. Most of all, I remember eating in the Food Court on the top floor, looking through the large windows (floor to ceiling) at the New York cityscape. It was awesome. It always made me sad to see how the Manhattan Mall had shrunk to just a couple of floors of stores above ground and a department store below. Nothing special about it now. And I haven't been there recently, but I've heard it's gotten much worse since J.C. Penney closed down.
Thanks for the video I did work here when was A & S back in 1989 I was doing security this place is total change I can said more beautiful then before I have good memory and sad ones many serious situation that happen back then and funny ones to I miss many good people no longer with us but is part of life since I haven visit this more than 10 years.
People really don’t know how to fucking walk In, this city apparently, just walk in a straight line and get off the phone. Good video though, interesting mall.

Rich Lux I don't think so
Rich Lux no the mall only has cheap stores. There's a Louis Vuitton Chanel Prada Gucci in the Macy's herald square next door and it's very luxurious
Rich Lux those stores are in Macy’s on 34th Street, Bloomingdale’s, Bergdorf Goodman and Saks. Or you can go to the flagship stores on 5th Avenue.
I'm from Australia 🇦🇺, I went there last year, maybe I should shoot a UA-cam video
Yese mallls to Mumbai or Delhi me v hote hai

It's a pretty big mall
Jesus loves you that’s why He died for your sins! God loves you and he wants you to repent for your sins so you can spend eternal life alongside Him!
What a dud.
