Same, though honestly my story is that I listened to a sexy korean r&b songs playlist and came across baby dont like it. I've never even like rap songs before, but after listening to taeyongs part, i keep on repeating it and decided to look for more of his songs. Hell, i once dont see him as handsome at first. He's basically not my type at all, but as time goes by, i am just like wow. How could i ever not see how handsome this man actually is. Now im so proud that i discovered this wonderful artist! He's probably the first kpop idol that i've stanned for the longest period of time. And i still do love him very much. This man never fails to amaze me.

i might get hate for saying this, but he is the real ace of 127. he's not just any pillar, he's THE pillar of nct, esp in 127. why? he's irreplaceable. at least for now, unless SM have the other members leveled up and match taeyong's prowess, especially in rap. when you think about it, mark and taeyong are both talented rappers. while mark excels at flow, taeyong is superior in style and individuality. mark's flow is easy to everyone's ear, so it's understandable that people like his rap more than taeyong's, but that also makes his rap replaceable. for instance, nct dream have survived with 6 members and they covered mark's line just fine. but can you imagine, lets say, mark or johnny covering taeyong's rap? no you can't. because his rap execution screams signature and individual style. that's just how superior he is as an artist. he is taeyong, the true pillar and ace of nct 127.

Especially now that he's injured and other members cover his positions in NCT U and 127 but let's be honest the execution was not the same with Taeyong, the style, the swag, the exaggeration of movements, & the confidence is hella diff from what Taeyong does. if people like taeyong just for his appearance, i hope they realize he's so much more beyond just a pretty face. there's something so special about a person like him who thinks so deeply all the time and is always reflecting on how to become a better idol, celebrity and person in general. he truly cares for his fans and tells him personal details about his life so he can bond with them and is so willing to give his all and his 100% constantly. recognize him for his talent please. he's so humble and giving, especially towards his family, members and fans. he's one of the kindest idols i know and i truly believe that aside from his natural-born talent, he worked so hard to get to where he is now AT THE LEVEL HE IS AT NOW. it's his personality and character traits that have gotten him that far and i hope he stays the genuine person he is for a very long time.

Actually I first watched a couple of SuperM performances on UA-cam and thought wow who’s that guy with purple hair kinda hot especially when he turned around in beginning of “I can’t stand the rain”! those eyes so gorgeous wow hot hot hot! Then found out later he’s THE LEE TAEYONG that I’ve been hearing about. Anyways, after the concert & watched couple of fancams I completely fell in love with Taeyong! Was attracted to him during SM Rookies days because of his resemblance to Jaejoong, good looks and ample center time. Then the scandal happened and I thought I had wrongly chosen my bias. Then I saw him tearing up and blaming himself over the scandal, about how he needs to do more as the leader, and realized he isn’t who his haters claimed he is. From then on he held a solid spot as my bias. The fact that he’s so much more than just a great leader, visual & dancer makes me really proud. He’s honestly pretty underrated even within the fandom, so I hope more can see this video.

This is so far the best video about TY's charm and talent I've seen . You've really shown that he is not just a pretty face and that he is appreciated by people who are well aware of art. There are so many talented artists in Korea,no doubt about that and their talent generally lies in 1 or 2 areas,either they would be excellent singers or dancers or maybe extremely good looking but TY has all of them , a rapper,a visual, a dancer and he has an understanding of song writing too. What I really admire about taeyong is that he is somehow very humble and kind of not believing in his own skills, but he still has the courage to try his hand at many things and go all the way with it when he does them. Like when he does something, like songwriting, choreographing, posing/modelling, inputting his own ideas, he does it without fear of failing it seems. He just goes for it fully, and then afterwards becomes humble again, reflecting and saying he could do better next time. And it always pays off. It's really inspiring to see that.

There's absolutely no doubting his talent and abilities. I would still simply believe in him even with my eyes closed. He's got more than visuals...he's a fracking awesome rapper, an excellent dancer, can also sing, a responsible leader and also has pretty amazing songwriting skills. I just have no idea why is he not appreciated enough for all his determination and hard work. He deserves the WORLD. He himself has declared his wish of being judged upon according to his talents, not visuals. Such a legend. ( bear with me im finna write a full essay eye- ) taeyong works so hard, and puts his best effort and all of his heart into his music (including nct and his solo stuff), choreography, concepts, etc. plus he's such an amazing leader !! including how he has to deal with 20 other members ! (excluding ty) he carries that burden but does it with pride and passion. mostly people really only see him as a visual but he's so much more than that. he's so creative and is the reason why almost everything nct related is so good. he's an amazing songwriter, dancer, singer, artist, and person in general. after getting into nct more a few months ago i realized that he's so much more than a visual. but a man who works his ass off 24/7 to be where he is today. without taeyong nct wouldn't be as successful of a group as it is today. and as of today he is still working very hard to make content, music, etc for nctzens. but let's not take it for granted !! he works so hard that i sometimes worry for him. he deserves a break really tbh. im proud of how far taeyong has come as a person and in nct, he is truly something. and i love him sm from the bottom of my heart

The reason why i stan SM is because of Taeyong, the first MV i watched accidentally was Cherry Bomb, at first i didn't like the song, even though its my first time to know NCT and my first time to saw their MV, Taeyong really got my attention to the whole Cherry Bomb mv, he really owned the Cherry Bomb era, few week later , I got bored and i rembered cherry bomb , because i forgot the title. I searched " im the biggest hit on the stage". Then i streamed and streamed until i got hooked by the song. Months went by i did some research because NCT's sub units are complicated to understand first and its hard memorizing all of their names. So now im very happy and proud that i stan NCT.
This man never fails to blow my mind. Yes he got scouted for his looks but he's become such a force in the industry because of his talent. You have idols who have been dancing, singing, & rapping before trainee days and Taeyong had no background whatsoever, but is killing the game right now. It's honestly so amazing to witness. I've never even like rap songs before, but after listening to taeyongs part, i keep on repeating it and decided to look for more of his songs. Hell, i once dont see him as handsome at first. He's basically not my type at all, but as time goes by, i am just like wow. How could i ever not see how handsome this man actually is. Now im so proud that i discovered this wonderful artist! i might get hate for saying this, but he is the real ace of 127. he's not just any pillar, he's THE pillar of nct, esp in 127. why? he's irreplaceable. at least for now, unless SM have the other members leveled up and match taeyong's prowess, especially in rap. when you think about it, mark and taeyong are both talented rappers. while mark excels at flow, taeyong is superior in style and individuality. mark's flow is easy to everyone's ear, so it's understandable that people like his rap more than taeyong's, but that also makes his rap replaceable. for instance, nct dream have survived with 6 members and they covered mark's line just fine. but can you imagine, lets say, mark or johnny covering taeyong's rap? no you can't. because his rap execution screams signature and individual style. that's just how superior he is as an artist. he is taeyong, the true pillar and ace of nct 127.

Especially now that he's injured and other members cover his positions in NCT U and 127 but let's be honest the execution was not the same with Taeyong, the style, the swag, the exaggeration of movements, & the confidence is hella diff from what Taeyong does. Taeyong levels up every performance he does that's why its hard to replace him with another idol.
The reason MarkYong achieved such star status as NCTs Rap Pillars is because they show us two sides that complement each other perfectly .
Mark excels at giving us rap as we EXPECT rap to be. His iconic phrases, deep pleasing pitch & flawless flows are SO satisfying because Mark fulfills our rap expectations...perfectly.

Actually I first watched a couple of SuperM performances on UA-cam and thought wow who’s that guy with purple hair kinda hot especially when he turned around in beginning of “I can’t stand the rain”! those eyes so gorgeous wow hot hot hot! Then found out later he’s THE LEE TAEYONG that I’ve been hearing about. Anyways, after the concert & watched couple of fancams I completely fell in love with Taeyong! His stage presence & charisma is sooooo mesmerizing!! Then I was like SH#T!!! I got sucker into Kpop again and became hard stan for Taeyong and NCT 127. even bought final round albums (My first Kpop albums!)

Was attracted to him during SM Rookies days because of his resemblance to Jaejoong, good looks and ample center time. Then the scandal happened and I thought I had wrongly chosen my bias. Then I saw him tearing up and blaming himself over the scandal, about how he needs to do more as the leader, and realized he isn’t who his haters claimed he is. From then on he held a solid spot as my bias. The fact that he’s so much more than just a great leader, visual & dancer makes me really proud. He’s honestly pretty underrated even within the fandom, so I hope more can see this video.

This is so far the best video about TY's charm and talent I've seen . You've really shown that he is not just a pretty face and that he is appreciated by people who are well aware of art. There are so many talented artists in Korea,no doubt about that and their talent generally lies in 1 or 2 areas,either they would be excellent singers or dancers or maybe extremely good looking but TY has all of them , a rapper,a visual, a dancer and he has an understanding of song writing too. I believe that we would be getting great songs from him in the future. He is a true entertainer!
One of the best parts that I like about him is that he doesn't even TRY to standout despite his obvious talents. He usually pushes the members to take the spotlight more and is always one of the first to compliment or point out there strengths. You can tell the members truly respect and adore him 💚

What I really admire about taeyong is that he is somehow very humble and kind of not believing in his own skills, but he still has the courage to try his hand at many things and go all the way with it when he does them. Like when he does something, like songwriting, choreographing, posing/modelling, inputting his own ideas, he does it without fear of failing it seems. He just goes for it fully, and then afterwards becomes humble again, reflecting and saying he could do better next time. And it always pays off. It's really inspiring to see that.

Not even saying this as a Tyongf, but Taeyong is someone that I seriously look up to and serves as my inspiration. He had no dreams of becoming an idol before entering SM, yet through hard work and determination he's become one of the most talented idols in the whole industry. He's an amazing leader and keeps himself humble, always striving to do better. I seriously don't know why he still gets hate to this day

I hope with the kick it hype the group sky rockets and Taeyong gets the attention and credit he deserves from the public not the false scandals and visual title. But even his visual is not as widely known like Irene is. I'm so happy that Taeyong has come out of his shell more and shown his dorky/babie side more cause now he can trust that even after all the scandals and backlash they received before their cb they still had their best comeback to date! There's absolutely no doubting his talent and abilities. I would still simply believe in him even with my eyes closed. He's got more than visuals...he's a fracking awesome rapper, an excellent dancer, can also sing, a responsible leader and also has pretty amazing songwriting skills. I just have no idea why is he not appreciated enough for all his determination and hard work. He deserves the WORLD. He himself has declared his wish of being judged upon according to his talents, not visuals. Such a legend. I'm not at all concerned about stanning him, cuz it's just pure knowledge that he can never disappoint anyone. Never. There's a reason why he's the leader of the current largest group in the kpop industry. It's never easy to lead so many guys. You pretty much need some one-of-a-kind dude to do that. Lee Taeyong's exactly the one.
This video made me fall in love even more with taeyong, but I really also have to praise whoever made this. This felt like a sort of professional documentary with good details and pacing.

taeyong works so hard, and puts his best effort and all of his heart into his music (including nct and his solo stuff), choreography, concepts, etc. plus he's such an amazing leader !! including how he has to deal with 20 other members ! (excluding ty) he carries that burden but does it with pride and passion. mostly people really only see him as a visual but he's so much more than that. he's so creative and is the reason why almost everything nct related is so good. he's an amazing songwriter, dancer, singer, artist, and person in general.
after getting into nct more a few months ago i realized that he's so much more than a visual. but a man who works his ass off 24/7 to be where he is today. without taeyong nct wouldn't be as successful of a group as it is today. and as of today he is still working very hard to make content, music, etc for nctzens. but let's not take it for granted !! he works so hard that i sometimes worry for him. he deserves a break really tbh.
im proud of how far taeyong has come as a person and in nct, he is truly something. and i love him sm from the bottom of my heart

Came back to this video to conclude that Taeyong is a genius. Like for real he can do everything at such a high level that he's got professionals praising him and doubting themselves....and he keeps getting better and better. Oh boy, I betcha SM didn't know that they found a musical genius when they offered him bread...

The reason why i stan SM is because of Taeyong, the first MV i watched accidentally was Cherry Bomb, at first i didn't like the song, even though its my first time to know NCT and my first time to saw their MV, Taeyong really got my attention to the whole Cherry Bomb mv, he really owned the Cherry Bomb era, few week later , I got bored and i rembered cherry bomb , because i forgot the title. I searched " im the biggest hit on the stage". Then i streamed and streamed until i got hooked by the song. Months went by i did some research because NCT's sub units are complicated to understand first and its hard memorizing all of their names. So now im very happy and proud that i stan NCT.
This is why he is my bias in all of kpop 💚 truly an ace💚💚💚

This man never fails to blow my mind. Yes he got scouted for his looks but he's become such a force in the industry because of his talent. You have idols who have been dancing, singing, & rapping before trainee days and Taeyong had no background whatsoever, but is killing the game right now. It's honestly so amazing to witness. He deserves all the praise.

This coupled with his dancing explanation video is literally perfection. That boy has worked so hard and perfected himself to be an amazing leader for his group and he really is an inspiration. This is what we mean when we say "a visual is nice but what else?" If you take away the looks or visuals of an artist then what will be left of them? There should be more. There HAS to be more. Not only for ty but I am glad people are starting to *actually* appreciate kpop, and the people who create/write, for the art that it actual is instead of focusing on how someone looks. We love the visuals trust me but there is more to these artists than just their faces and bodies.
