It’s not Randall it’s Taniks, he’s gonna merge with the witness for the last boss of the final shape. The final shape is Taniks (witnessed) holding a pocket Infinity in one hand and a telesto on the other.

You forgot two things.
1.
Randal can also appear in the D2 Cosmodrome (no surprise of course)
2.
Randal was also in D2 S1-11, in the EDZ in Sunken Isles (where the large Cabal ship is) on the water side by a single tree an orange bar Vendal could sometimes spawn that also had much more HP than normal, which was also an Easter Egg to Randal, but was removed when the Cosmodrome was added
I swear cosmodrome is just shit. Because of that we lost old planet and vandel. I hate cosmodrome

The narrator is most likely Toland since was disappointed our Guardian didn't make Oryx's dreadnought/throne their own when our Guardian wouldn't really know what to do with infinite lives. No doubt Toland would be disappointed Eris briefly having the power to match Xivu but simply just forever banished her from her Throne World and left it there. This could be because Eris already has all she really wants unlike that Dark Timeline.
Also, to think a bugged Vandal would become a legend by the community and then become a running gag and legend in the game. Randal the Vandal can never die. He'll always comeback.

Toland would indeed be disappointed in Eris's choices, but I wonder, what good is a soul wandering the Sea of Screams, plumbing the depths of the Sword Logic?
when we defeat the witness, the question of who would rise next to the taken throne comes up. I would love to see toland turn against us, and become the new taken king.
I think it would give eris a reason to go back to her life as a hive god, and would have toland recruiting and taking other guardians.
@@ThisMightBeAnAccount We are considered the Taken King... Xivu literally gets mad at us for not taking the throne after we killed Oryx because it is our right to since we bested him in combat no less in the collectibles in the dungeon. Toland cannot assume the role since he isn't the one who bested Oryx

Randel was also in the sunken Isle of the EDZ from the red war to just before beyond light, he would take the colors of House Dusk but his title would give away as Reaver Vandel, I made sure to find and kill each version of him before beyond light to record all of his appearances.
He showed up Six times.
1.Cosmodrome.
2.the plague lands
3.the EDZ
4.the Moon
(if you count his nightmare).
5.Cosmodrome
6.Grasp of avarice
(A side note, I believed that he would be on Europa as well when I found a particularly strong Vandel in my patrols but not 100% sure)
Toland got new voice lines in the ascendant challenges. I'm not sure when, but within the past 2 seasons. Whenevever the season was where we went through the ascendant plane, that season. The challenges were messed up and blinding for weeks too

Yo was that Matt Mercer voicing Guren? Haven’t heard his voice in destiny in a hot minute.
I think it was! He did a reading of a Fikrul lore entry purely for socials about 2 months ago; paired with warlords ruin setting up Fikrul, expect to hear a lot of him in his episode
Is there more lore out there about Guren? I always knew Toland was into Hive arcana before his little adventure on the moon, but I had no idea Guren was so on board with it too.

I don't know who i want to return the most. Randal or Taniks both have a special place in my heart but honestly I'd rather see Taniks return more than Randal simply because I love having him as a type of rival to the Guardian. Would be cool if he came back and fought for the same thing as us in the final shape, kinda like the enemy of my enemy is my friend type of deal, then went back to being our old rival afterwards

I had been wondering who was talking about Eris on that card, and once you mentioned Toland, I was certain that it can't possibly be anybody other than him.
Randel is back in the cosmodrome he must've got his old job back
7:05 quick theory about Joxer,
if cayde is in the pale heart, and he's dead, i think its a safe assumption that dead guardians go to the pale heart. So maybe Joxer thinks he really did make it through the portal, but cant communicate with the vanguard.
