I always felt that this song wasn't long enough on its own. I mean it works for the movie being this short, but when I just listen to the song I feel it needs to be longer.
I loved the book AND the movie. Plus, the music really gives it a "je ne se quoi." Its really beautiful and I love the violin-y sound it has. Very dramatic, perfect for the movie.

I disagree, I really enjoyed the movie and I never read the book, the music only made it better and I'm reading the book now :) It's good. But I like to think of this music when reading it, specially at 1:47 through 2:10
