Here's how to use the promo code.
First, download the Lyft app. Create an account following the on-screen steps. You can sign up either with your Facebook account or an email address. After you've created your account, head to the Payments area of the app and input "freerideshare" in the 'Apply Lyft Credits' box. Hit apply and one free ride is yours!
This code is for new users only, so make sure to input the credit code BEFORE your request your first ride or it won't work! Unfortunately there are no promo codes for existing users, so share my code with a friend if you're unable to use it yourself.
