Here's another walk and talk video!
The place I walked around is an area near Takeda Shrine in Kofu city, Yamanashi Prefecture.
Kofu is 1 hour and half away from Shinjuku by express train.
What you'll see in the video is a plain, ordinary neighborhood common in Japan.

I love these streets, how clean they are and how you explain everything. As I do not speak Japanese the English subtitles are vital but mainly I listen and sometimes I even understand a word lol. I am at the very beginning of learning Japanese.

Listening to these videos has become a highlight of my day and a daily practice. I have been playing the listening practice playlist on shuffle everyday while i get ready, and I have now seen every listening video many times over.
My favorites are the university entrance exam, kofu city vlog, and the hanakuni flower shop listening test practice audios. Also the 2 short videos with your daughter painting a mandarin at home and your son at the arcade were wonderful videos as well.
I was so happy to find a new video when I put the playlist on shuffle today, especially because I love learning about the unique details of history, day to day activity, and the building blocks of life in Japan that are featured in these videos.
The smallest details add so much, and I always look forward to seeing the way you carefully observe your surroundings in the neighborhood, including the details about the history of Kofu and the historically significant buildings nearby.
Thank you so much for creating and providing us with such a priceless resource for learning, and a seemingly endless goldmine of historically rich and fascinating listening practice audios. I am truly and deeply grateful and will be playing this on repeat for weeks to come!

I've been really enjoying learning so far! In that time, I have gotten really comfortable reading Hiragana, and Katakana, so I don't use romanji. I have also learned the readings for approximately 40 Kanji.

Thank you, this is very good listening practice, and the clarity of the audio is so helpful. It's a little above my ability, but that helps me stretch. And, it was really interesting to learn about the 刻地蔵！The history was super-interesting. I think it's wonderful that Japanese people save small spaces like the 刻地蔵 when there's such a demand for new buildings. I like to imagine who would have made these stones, and why, and how they would have been cared for hundreds of years ago.
