Drawings or AI images that show kids being hurt don’t help society. These kinds of images can make people less shocked about real abuse. Banning this kind of art is about keeping kids safe and making sure we don’t accept anything that could hurt them. It’s not just about what we’re free to do, it’s also about protecting the youngest among us.

In addition, real images of children being abused and hurt in non-sexual ways are completely legal, yet this argument is never presented and no one seems to want to ban those.
I think if it is AI and not Deep Fake using real faces, it shouldnt be taken seriously. But if he used deep fake of real children's faces, then it should be a crime. There are a lot of porn made from japanese hentai anime characters that are not at all real, so they should be viewed differently from using those using real faces..
