大地を揺るがす超重低音から軽やかな高音まで、5オクターブに及ぶ豊かな音域の竹製打楽器オーケストラ。パイプオルガンのような重低音と芳醇で温かみのある高音は必聴です。人の声や電子楽器と融合した『交響組曲AKIRA』のライブ演奏をご披露します。ジェゴグ本来の響きを日本で保ち続けるため、絶えず新たな竹を現地バリ島から取り寄せ、最適なものに入れ替え続けています。
A bamboo percussion orchestra with a rich sound range of five octaves, from earth-shaking ultra-heavy bass to light high notes. The pipe-organ-like heavy bass and mellow, warm high notes are a must-hear. A live performance of “Symphonic Suite AKIRA” fused with human voices and electronic instruments will be presented. In order to keep the original sound of Jegog in Japan, new bamboo is constantly being imported from Bali and replaced with the most suitable ones.
