Due to the time difference between Australia, Germany and the USA, I was lucky enough to hear and see the song on the evening of March 7th, 2022 at 10 p.m. . Australia is 7-9 hours earlier than Germany ,depending on where you live there and the USA, about 9 hours after the German onetime.also depends on where you live there.A great song that captures innocence and wisdom with no answers to it.The voice, by Luke J.Steele coupled with the very minimal instruments...catches you in and you stay there his thoughts.I love the song.Great work Luke ! 🙏❤️🙏
Still star-studded with the art-wear strewn through the "LUKEsolo" hint stylized cosmic flare of Empirical mastery...with childlike Empress adrift in linguistic journey alongside Empirean Mini-Me (CRUZsolo) whipping out dance moves clearly influenced by Lord Littlemore. tee-hee 😉
Do you want my honest opinion? Against such songs like Come to This, We are the People, Alive, Standing on the Shore, Sun Kids, this one sounds like a step backwards.
They are all Empire of the Sun tracks. This is Luke Steele, showing his amazing ability to use his voice with the music in the way that popular music just cannot achieve. This man is a true songwriter. Empire of the Sun is more commercial but in Luke and Nick’s own way, but Luke still will always be an artist in his own right beyond EOTS
@@DrivingDrones No, Sun Kids and Come to This are Sleepy Jackson. Practice showed that the aspect of collaborators was very important, the arrangement side. The full sounding of a band with drums or a project with synthesizers and traditional instruments like an electric or acoustic guitar, in addition to clever arrangers, that's what pulled out the best of this man. I mean, the melodies instantly became pop hits, bangers.
@@DrivingDrones Listen to PNAU - With You Forever. This is the song that started the Empire of the Sun. It's like Luke and Nick found the key to great music, cracked the formula.
@@DrivingDrones I would say more, Peter Mayes and Nick Littlemore stand behind the sound of the Empire of the Sun. Look at this: ua-cam.com/video/froqs4giHBg/v-deo.html. Sounds like Empire of the Sun, but with Elton John.
Do you mean the eccentricity of the videos? I saw a couple interviews of him, he is a sane bloke. When he talks vis-a-vis with the interviewer, he always speaks slow and too relaxed, but when he is surrounded by his bandmates he always talks quicker and more active overall.
@@sevchyk Yes and the fact that as a young man he sort of got into psychedelics and had some great ideas for visuals and the like, his love of Jodorowsky's movies. I meant it in the nicest way. I don't mean to say that he is clinically insane at all. Just a little eccentric, he called his wife Snappy Dolphin and so on.
@@cherylw1958 The great side of it is the fact that it translates to music in a good way. For example, ua-cam.com/video/SPAByES0ezk/v-deo.html, the melody in the second part of the song is very unusual for pop songs, with all those strange leaps, but it sounds great.
Luke Steel will always surprise me positively with his music
Beautiful lyrics.. show what he and a lot of people are feeling..
So amazing truth in lyrics . Luke is always speaking. But is anybody listening?
💫💫💫💫awesome
"He's cooking up cachitorie, Imma getta slice" Coolest line I've ever heard in a song lol
Omfg... Im such a dumbass... It's "Armageddon Slice"

Great song after all the shit our world has gone through the last 3 years.
Lesson learned - never underestimate your childhood celebrity crush.
This means no more empire of the sun??? Why the music that works better for luke doesn't come back.....
They’re still working on their fourth album. Nick told me on Instagram
@@Zacharylastnamemusic any idea when it will be released? Like this year or they don't know?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍
♥️♥️♥️
Please Reunite Empire Of The Sun 🌞
1:35 gives away the fact that the video was shot on Iphone 11 Pro or later)
Приятная песня
❤
It’s been too damn long. Too long luke for you to get back to your roots.
Please stay here.
yep :)
❤️❤️❤️😍🥰
first few seconds of listening to this I thought of Bob Dylan
🇿🇦
Igazi életművész.
There feeding me paranoia. 👻🤸♀️👻.
Empire of the sun jammed for me but I don’t get this stuff….. I just don’t get it…
I hear some Bob Dylan in his voice.
I noticed it at the start of the track also.
Old Gregg
Major Tom petty vibes. Mixed with John Lennon.
