The FENDT 724 Vario tractor is a beast! It's amazing to see it in action planting corn with such precision. Thanks for the detailed specs and history!
It is a nice modern tractor.
That’s a nice looking setup 👍👍
Perfect size for planting 1,000 acres.
@@bigtractorpower for sure 👍👍
724 the best tractor fendt ever produced 👏
It is a nice sized compact tractor with plenty of power. I like that gen 7 offers front row crop duals.
Fendt makes some nice equipment for sure. Just think, not all that many years back, a tractor like this would have been considered a very high HP row crop tractor. Time sure have changed.
25 years ago 240 hp was top end with the 235 hp John Deere 8410 and the MX240 was the second largest tractor from Case IH. This planting team is a nice modern set up for cover 1,000 acres of corn planting.
Agco/Fendt make some really nice and productive equipment.
They are so. This a great modern corn planting team.
Hello everyone great vidéo and great german power equipement
Great planting team to put out corn.
Good video 👍
Thank you for watching. This a nice planting team.
Mate, you need to come to Australia and film some Baldwin, Philips, Phoenix and Chamberlain tractors
Watch out Deere there's a new sheriff in town 😅
Fendt has some stand out product.
Do they employ the standard German logic..."Why use two bolts when ten will do"?...
Interesting planting team, thanks for the video Jason😁👍
Different from the big ones and a nice option for 1,200 acres or less.
Love seeing my meeger investment gain PR !! ROCK them all , AGCO !!
Ferguson pride ; 3pt at work , too
This is a nice modern planting team.

Great tractor and planter. Modern set up for the medium size farm.

You should come to California for some vids we are are the most productive in the country by far
Super💯video as always.
Thank you James.
They just brought the 23 to ag Revolution in Etown. We finished double crop beans right before it showed up.
I hope your harvest went well. I am looking forward to visiting your farm and the chance to feature your 24 in this history part of this video.
I've started to see some fendt tractors, sprayers and dry spreaders down in Georgia
It is a brand that has quickly gained popularity. The 3 year Gold Star warrenty has been a big part of farmers looking to Fendt as a new option.
👏👏👌👌👍👍🚜🚜
Thank you Paulo
Hi from Dexter🏠Missouri
Hi James.
🚜👍💪😁
Thank you for watching.
@@bigtractorpower thanks to you for showing those great videos
👍
Thank you for watching Jim.
Hello! German engineering...
Coming from the uk why is there so many different spacings for corn?
Good question. 30 inch is the most popular. Narrow row 20 and 22 inch is good on rolling hills for tighter roots to hold the soil. Narrow rows are also good because it canopy’s faster to shade out weeds, it is more drought resistant and hold up against wind damage. You can combine across the rows with out knocking off ears. In silage narrow rows are popular for building up tons.
In the south wide 38 inch rows are popular because cotton and peanuts needs extra space. 3 pt mounted planters are used for planting on beds for cotton and peanuts. Corn is often in the rotation so the sane wife row planter is used.
@@bigtractorpower thank you for the in depth answer 👍
Fendt had a bit of German arrogance when it came to engines. They had a deal with AGCO to put German engines in their tractors, but a recent series of Deutz engines were not reliable and did not satisfy Fendt's needs. Then Fendt had to swallow their pride and use better AGCO engines from Finland.
I think Fendt management is afraid not to be too incorporated into AGCO, which is why they were stubbornly using unreliable Deutz engine. I understand, AGCO has a bit of GM approach of sharing platforms, and Fendt wants to have their own original design.
Can’t argue with them tho, why spend decades building you dream tractors just to have someone else have their way with them, I’m All for Fendt keeping to themselves
Fendt used Deutz (former MWM) engines decades before AGCO. If reliabilty really was a general issue then these engine would have been replaced years ago.
AGCO engines are already used since 2015 in the 300 series. Fendt also uses MAN engines since decades.
Agco owns Fendt 100%. It's not Fendt decision. Lol it's only Fendt in name and color scheme. Agco owns it. That's why the Fendt and Challenger tractors were the same tractors.
Agco bought Fendt in 1997
@farmerjohnson8121 they own brand, but the factory has autonomy to do their own design. It was 1997 contract. That is why they still have factory in Germany. If they had a weaker hand at the time AGCO would outsource their factory and probably force them to share parts with other brands even more, but Fendt had a good card-first successful CVT Vario transmission. All companies inside AGCO have certain level of atonomy on design and manufacturing, but I feel Fendt has the widest.
Why is the planter so small he’s got 250 to much hp … this isn’t even close to being economically viable viable for a above average farm
It’s a 12 row planter requiring 10hp per row at 10mph , extra power means more efficient and your not lugging down your machine and not creating excessive wear , it’s not a bad setup especially for a multi-purpose machine . Besides he may be in a field that he can’t use a big planter in, and the tractor isn’t just used for the seeder .
@@nbooker7504 that’s a 350+ hp tractor probably closer to 425 … 150hp is plenty for 12 row planter … granted hydraulics might be limited so let’s round it up to 225 … anyone running this tractor to pull a 12 row planter has more money than sense
Lots of rolling hills here in Wisconsin.
