i got a 2005 m47 engine 320d its the best car ever im never selling it, always gives me huge amount of happines every time i sit in the drivers seat, even though id like it more if it was a 3.0
Shit ECU map. Got mine tuned, the 177hp model 320D, and it's now 225hp with greatly improved engine response. You have to kill the ERG valve, as well as those lazy intake flaps..
Perfect engine for stage 1- 200/400, then hybrid turbo, bigger ic, dpf n egr out and you can reach about 240km and 490 nm of torque, which are quite good stats for 1500kg car.
Or just buy a 330d and save yourself headaches, money spent on parts and have better reliability (a very tuned 2.0 will not be all that reliable), better brakes, probably more optional equipment and a much more refined engine.
@@games071 I got 177 hp 320d sedan ( e90) its nice and relatively fast maybe too fast for me hehe, but I dont think it can hold a candle to 330d and 6 out there, but still truly plenty fast, and normal overtakes are very comfortable.
I ve got the same model and last week I was flat out and on sat NAV was showing 207 kmh with air con on, the thing is that in spring I was with other 3 people in the car and I have reached 208 no air con and she was still accelerating I have even raced with a Volvo V70 2.0 d 136 CV he was alone in the car and he just couldn't cope with my car, I think external temperature does a lot
Same with mine. I have the same engine in the sedan. With wide summer tires on a hot day it will struggle to reach 215 kmph according to GPS. On winter tires at ~10°C the car will easily go faster than the official top speed of 225.

People will use 4season tyres or some winter shit/bad summer tyres, not service turbine smack on it stage1 and cry about 10s to 100km/h and bad consumption.

Pravdepodobne mal tvoj kamarát n47 tie sa robili po 9/2007 v dieseloch. 318d malo 105kw a 320d 130kw, 330d (myslím ze n57) malo 170kw To boli tie n ktoré robili skoro doteraz no nahradili ich Bčkami. (b47 napr,) ale videl som to rozobraté, tam šetrili kde sa dalo. Čiže. Bmw už nieje bmw :/

It don't take too much in 320d, it's an 4 cylinders.. A 6 cylinders (325d / 330d) take much more power in stage 1

I have same engine, but e90 without dpf and max speed is 240km/h. Maybe can go higher.

Diesel engines actually run quite a bit better in the cold than they do when it‘s hot outside.

I drove an Opel Vectra 1.9 CDTI 150 hp, speedometer said 230.
So around 220 with less horsepower. The BMW should be capable of more.
