I just got back home after driving for an hour straight in a really intense thunderstorm. Logged onto UA-cam to relax and sure enough there’s a new “rain/thunderstorm” camping upload from Sam. Talk about perfect timing! LOVE it Sam 👏👍😁 P.S. Thank you Mrs. Bananas for letting Sam take us along on his camping adventures. Much appreciated 👏
Ms. Bannanas: Thanks so much for supporting your husband's videos. He has become my favorite Utuber. He may not be the most knowledgeable, experienced or enlightened, but he is by far the most entertaining. Keep up the good work!
Wooooooah!!!! That lightning lit up the sky so perfectly, one second it's dark as and then booom you see the trees in the forefront and the sky and background lit up... Awesome content Sam 🍌
Them banana flasks caught me child support.. Thanks!!! Kidding love the videos! Forgot to mention that in your last video! Also, this is your channel and we appreciate you. We love your camping videos solo as well as collaborations with Kevin or anyone else. You put up what you want and we will enjoy it. Don't be nervous about it. We love what you do!
Ps: HI SON! I took my chromebook out to the tent and the boys watched, we all really enjoyed this one. Its such a beautiful area there. They thought it was "awesome" that they were camping out, watching you camp out..I slept out there with them. It was actually really nice except need a ground mat. Will look in barn see what pool floats we got. Love you both to The Banana Bunch
Hi Sam just came across your video, the scenery beautiful, the tranquility of the water, wow that change fast the rain, thunder and lightning, thanks for sharing stay safe
Really enjoyed this video, had a bit of everything. Some beautiful scenery, campfire, humor, the usual rain, drinks and what looks like delicious chili baked potato. Enjoy your trip to Ireland and Hi and thanks to Mrs. Bananas
I like the way you didn’t creatively edit to make things look perfect. You look like you were having fun and that’s the reason behind it all. Good job.
This was one of the best Sam. A really enjoyable video. Hi Mrs. Bananas. Thanks for sharing Sam with us. I wish I could have some of that chili. Looks great. During lightening, I imagine laying on the ground was the best thing. I worry about it when I’m hammock camping. Even if the lightning didn’t go through the hammock, the shrapnel sometimes made by lightning could be a bad thing. Again. Great episode.
Always appreciate your ability to adapt to the current situation in such a positive way 😊 Sending a big hello to Mrs. Sam bananas 🎉 so awesome that the dehydrated chili was a success. I know it takes work to dehydrate food. Btw, we would LOVE Ireland footage 👏🏼 always wanted to go, but we will live vicariously through you in the mean time haha
Hey Sam 👋. With this unforgiving heat wave down here in Georgia, I would have plopped face first in that little creek you crossed. Cool video 👍 Sorry about your blade brother, that sucks
Thank you Sam and Mrs. Bananas for another great video. I hope you have a wonderful time in Ireland. I’d definitely like to see footage from your trip if you decide you want to film while you’re there.
Sorry for the late hi Mrs. Bananas, just getting caught up on some older videos. Love this one, great spot with water/beer cooler steps away 😊 Living right, that chilli baked potato looked like an awesome camping meal 🥔 Your videos are great; relaxed pace, bit of fun/humour, good food, couple beers. But also good stuff like cleaning up the remains of the old fire pit after you moved it, always taking your garbage out (and lots of other peoples 👍 ), and cleaning and removing traces of your using the campsite
You have now discovered why the bahco laplander (while less efficient) is the preferred saw for BOBs and get home bags, it bends and rarely breaks. Try a center tie out to give yourself more room while pitching a plow point. And always, thanks Mrs Bananas for sending him out, giving us entertainment.
Hi Michael, nice to see ya bud! I have been thinking about getting a bahco, but as you mentioned they do not cut as well. I beat up on that Silky for almost two years and it didn't break. However by all accounts, the Bahco will pretty much last a lifetime. I'll try it out!
@@CampingwithSamBananas , buddy if you got 2 years with it with all the giant fires you make roll with the silky, that’s a lifetime of use. It didn’t break, it committed suicide. 😭
Haven't seen one of your videos in so long I'd forgotten I was subscribed. It was great seeing you adapting to circumstances beyond your control once again. I don't know how many of your viewers are in my condition, but I suppose we're not the smallest minority. I'm speaking of campers who prefer the outdoors to living indoors, and have lived decades outside, but who find themselves unable yo live that way ( temporarily, it's hoped ) who enjoy watching others experiencing what we value most. When you can't do it, at least you can watch it on UA-cam. Keep churning out the content. No body told me that when your mother is approaching 100 and has lost her memory that it's time for you to man ( or woman) up and care for her every moment she's not asleep, but that's where I am. I should have known. No body gets out of life untested. Avoiding responsibility except for yourself, is not guaranteed. It's not even the rule, is it?
Haha both things definitely add some drama to the video, not gonna lie. Hope everything is going well with you bud. Exciting to get back out there with ya again
Awesome video., I like watching when I’m relaxing going to bed or just when I get off work at night., puts me to sleep watching good outdoors camping videos and bushcraft.
can understand as a women of almost 58 taking care of my husband of 34 years fot very long time but you guys help me keep getting up and yeah but thank you for helping
Boom!!! and the night just got that much better!! If it was easy everyone would be doing this.. nice pivot.. adapt and overcome.. hello Mrs. Bananas Very best!! 🍻
Great video! I really enjoy your videos. They should call you the rainmaker.😊 You poor guy, rains each video. Thanks so much for taking us on your adventure.
👋🏻 Mrs. Banans! ... well sir, a good plan is a flexible plan. You adapted brilliantly. A tarp, a campfire and a creek...doesn't get better than that! Cheers from B.C. (Canada)
Just subscribed to your channel I found you about 3 days ago and since then iv been watching all your tarp and tent camping videos back to back. I really like your personality and not afraid of errors. I'm in my 50s now reminds me of the days I hobo on trains to Miami Florida to Dallas Texas and camped out . I miss the camping. Ty for your friendly tent camping videos I use to take portable DVD players lol. I like your videos.
Hello Mr & Mrs Bananas 🍌 😊 hope you're having a wonderful and safe trip. Sam, this was Awesome as always. Bummer your saw broke. What you had in mind to do, sounded like it would have been an awesome shelter, but oh well, life happens.😬 😳 You can always do that shelter another time. I'm kinda looking forward to seeing 👀 it😊. That rainstorm was amazingly awesome, and you got to be there to hear it and see it. Well, it was probably a bit scary with all that lightening but awesome nonetheless 😆 🤣 😂 😹 Thank you for sharing your awesome adventures and for all the hard work and time you put into these videos. I want to thank the beautiful Mrs Bananas also. She is greatly appreciated. I hope y'all have safe travels and a beautiful time in Ireland. It sounds amazing. Congrats on your first international trip. Hopefully, you'll be able to travel more after this. I hope you take lots of pictures and share them with us. We would love to see them. Sorry that I drifted off to sleep during the sound of rain on the tarp, gets me every time. Don't worry I went back to watch the finish. Nice camp out.
Another Sam Bananas Adventure! Always got to have a plan “B”. Broken saw, unexpected rain, and good food. Perfect! Enjoy Ireland and maybe put some Irish Whiskey in the Ol’ Banana Flask!
Silky saw made in Japan I have one that I use every weekend for the past 3 years and I've never even had to sharpen the teeth So the fact that Sam actually busted his is quite an achievement.😂

Love your videos… I like when things go wrong because it helps ppl like me learn to carry on if camping doesn’t go as planned!
I don't always drink cheap cinnamon whiskey, but when I do, I drink Fireball! Which is why you are that guy, Sam!
Haha yep! I try to keep the fireball a once a while type of thing. But it works in a pinch 😉
Mrs. Bananas, I love the way you support Sam. True love! Enjoy your trip to Ireland. Yes, please put up a compliation of Ireland up.
Will do! And yes she really is the best
Seeing a beast when the lightning flashed would be horrifying lol😮
LOL!!! I didn't even think about that, but very true

All that extra work sawing ? Nah , this was an omen . Your better off out there doing the Cha - Cha ! Have another beer Sam !
