This was an audition..who cares if he was eliminated..it's done to see the pop. How well he did the promo and to see if fans get mad when he's eliminated fast
And he got into a backstage confrontation with Shawn Michaels. They're definitely gonna try and sign him when he's done in TNA.

I'm very curious on how these Impact Wrestling wrestlers have become overnight sensations? First Eli Drake & now Joe Hendry. Nothing against them because both are extremely entertaining wrestlers, I'm just curious on how they've become soooo over so quickly when their character has remained the same over time? Bigger stage, better exposure maybe idk? I mean MJF hasn't evolve or changed much since his MLW days (aside to his physique) and he's the best wrestler in the game today.

They should have made them part of the final 4. Having him go out so fast negates the pop. Having Hendry get eliminated towards the end of the match would the drama and the story they plan on taking back to TNA. Almost feels like WWE doesn’t want Joe Hendry to get over so they’re trying to sabotage his debut.

People he wasn’t robbed the reason that happened like it is is because WWE wants to use him in the future and it doesn’t make it look weak of her by teams up and gets rid of them OK too TNA doesn’t wanna overexpose him because they want to use the lesson. They need his him to get injured since he’s gonna be part of the new feud as the part I mean, event feud System so the last thing they wanna do is take a chance on the guy getting hurt in battle royale that Frankie knows how to do things and feel more confident at this moment. He’s not part of their main event concept makes perfectly sense why they did what they’ve done they get a little bit exposure part of NXT gamesgets rid of them so you could justify why he would be eliminated that still look strong back at Frank who is a veteran knows what he’s doing looks strong in the vein event which can put him in but also help him get exposure into WBEE it makes perfect sense the way the decisions were made

They're not competing with AEW though. They're on different nights.
@coltonwilkie241 they are on different nights but it's the ratings and the fact that WWE can say look a developmental and a company that you worked with and through aside are betting your number 1 show damn you suck.
Aew ratings are abismal. No one is thinking about them. Damn sure don't see them as a threat. WWE is working with TNA, Pro Wrestling Noah, AJPW,GCW,Marigold. Also plan on working with Mexico and Puerto Rico. Could be more but that is just off the top of my head. They are trying to make a global footprint. No one cares about AEW. It is just comical to think so. They need to worry about getting more than 2000 people to show up for Dynamite or barely 700k watching it. Not even worth bringing up Collision or Rampage.

He wasn't wasted. They wanted to see how the fans would react to him and how quickly he was eliminated and they got their answer. Everybody loves him. I expect him to do much more with WWE now.
