Thanks Steve! I'm from North Alabama, Bill "Rip" Wilson was my guitar teacher many many years ago in Nashville. "Rip" was a great teacher and a good friend of mine. I used to drive up to Nashville every week and did this for an entire year to get lessons from "Rip". Because I drove so far for my lesson, he always gave me a little extra time and would tell me stories from his years of playing in Nashville. "Rip" told me about his friendship with you. We did some lessons at his house and I got to see the Gold record plaque you gave him. I always thought that was really cool of you to do that. Many years later, I moved to Nashville where I lived for 12yrs. Sadly "Rip" died before I could connect with him once I got there. I've always been a huge fan of you as a vocalist, songwriter and guitar player. I'm a proud, 100% "chickin' pickin" thumb picker because of you and "Rip's" influence! I don't know if you read these comments on your UA-cam videos, but I thought maybe you'd like to hear from one of "Rip's" students :) Thanks
Do you happen to have video of your concert in Abilene Texas around 1985? I was there right by the stage. You shook my hand twice!!! Would be super cool if I could see it!!! I was probably 19years old then. I loved all your songs. Still do!!!
Hi Steve. I’m a good friend of our mutual pal Rick (and Barb) Blackstone up here in Ohio! Love your Warnier Wednesdays. Great to see all your different guitars. I am the co-author of the book “Epiphone: The House of Stathopoulo” (and sent you a copy years ago). I remember once seeing a photo of your guitars which included a 40’s Epiphone Broadway. Just curious if you still have it. Cheers! L.B. Fred

I wanna hear "The Heartland" from "Life's Highway" album. Oh, and "If I Could Make a Living(Out of Loving You)" from "It's a Crazy World" album. #1 fan, right here.
Hi Steve, I just found your channel and I have been a fan since about 1980. You're an inspiration for not only your playing, but also how you treat other people. I wanted to mention that the other day I saw Ryan playing with Heart on Howard Stern and he was incredible, his tone is always amazing. I'm a former tele player until I was diagnosed with ALS In 2009. I love your stories and music and plan to watch all of your videos.

Do you trim your thumb pick? I'm trying to learn how to use one & the Dunlop out of the bag just seems to strange. I filed one down & like it better, but was wondering you had a special technique if you did in fact reshape the pick. Thanks!

We love your show! Is it true you sand the theme song to "Who's the Boss" starring Tony Danza - back in the 80's? How about singing that next show?
