Sir Cliff Richard was on "Loose Women" today. He had some wise advise. He was born in 1940. What a year to be born! Gloria (OBE) was also born 1940 but she is slightly older than him. I think they are both Christians. May God bless them and keep them. So many greats born in 1940 like John Lennon, Sir Ringo Starr and Sir Tom Jones. This is the first rock 'n' roll generation after Elvis Presley's early fame in late 1950s. They were inspired first by Elvis, Buddy Holly and others that they could make it big too. Sure enough The Beatles, Sir Tom Jones and Sir Cliff Richard all made it big! Sir Ringo was actually slightly older than John Lennon but both born 1940. So sad about what happened to poor John Lennon, George Harrison (MBE), Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly. Buddy Holly died so tragically young. I just find it really sad that so many rock 'n' rollers and musicians in general die young. 1940 was quite a year and this was in the Second World War. Sir Cliff was born in Colonial India but he also grew up in what is now suburban London.
Being all just human, we do need to accept reality, especially when Cliff's safety requires distancing. We all become unsteady on our feet. So, let's keep him safe, and be close... from a distance. Wisdom of the old ones!!! And most of us are in that club. 😁😷👵
