HAVE you ever noticed how the metal of the cars in any car factory has a different look than any old steel? I am guessing this metal has already been prepped for paint. Sanded or scuffed or sand blasted , whatever. BUT, I would bet they will still want to wipe the metal down just before it goes into paint just like is says to do on any old spray paint can. THAT I would like to see. Is it hand wiped? Sprayed down? YEARS AGO, Ford use to brag how they did not spray but DIPPED their car bodies in giant tubs of liquid paint claiming it was cheaper for them & resulted in a better finished product. BUT, I dont see that being done anymore. !
The dealer called yesterday. He said our new Maverick TREMOR XLT has arrived. I asked him to roll it into their body shop & shoot the bedliner on. We are waiting for a call. Today we hope, !

DID YOU KNOW, when a new car rolls out of the factory it does not have a title yet? No registration. no proof of ownership. Just a VIN #. All that paperwork is created at the dealership. I wonder if a trucker ever arrives at a dealership with a load of new cars and finds 1 missing? !
I used to deliver new Navistar Big Rigs. And I had to have company documents and ID showing that the vehicle was not registered and we were self insured. Got hassled at weigh stations more than once.
what a pile of garbage this is! I have one of these cars made in MEXICO and it is nothing but junk. I believe the ones made in USA or Canada are better.
They wear clean uniforms and well shaved, unlike GM or cadillac assembly lines.
