For the beard, look into micro needling and applying minoxidil. A lot of people respond really well to that, afaik JJ experimented with both of those(might be a non-responder, but also, rumor on the street has it he used cheap equipment lmao) Edit: quick note tho: minoxidil, unlike on the scalp, would make increased facial hair growth rate permament
oh yeah JJ def used some treatment on his beard. It doesn't look too great though, since he's completely missing a mustache. But Simon's beard, I think, I still coming in nicely. And his hair color is also lighter, so all the hairs might not be as noticeable.
