I really saw that second panzerwerfer and manually targeted it with the pak40. And since it disappeard in the garden during shell traveling time I also zoomed in to the pak to listen to the voice response.
Your micro was superb. Well done.
what do you mean you zoomed in to hear the voice? im newer to the pvp
@@opie_candoit78 when you zoom into a unit you can hear the voice response to being hit/dying. The top players use the audio to confirm a kill in a situation where it is possible that a unit may have hidden before the hit.
Unless your micro is really good this is more of a point of trivia than something you can actually use, but for the top tier of players it is another tool in their arsenal.
@@notbotheredableIt’s easy, just zoom in and listen. Anyone can do it.
@@HoboTango it's easy in the same way playing the piano is easy, you just hit the keys in the right order...
Knowing which shots are critical and having the moment to zoom in rather than move a unit. I have watched a lot of live recorded games from the player's perspective and very, very few players have the awareness to actually zoom in to get the sound effect mid-game. To be a bit cheeky, I have watched a lot of your games, and you don't generally do it, and you are actually good at this game.
Based on German documents the RoF of the KT is “6~10”, and for the tiger it’s “~10”. Which seems to indicate the tiger shoots slightly faster. However this is in ideal situation with ammunitions from the ready rack, and no re-aiming.
Realistically a fair number for the KT would be about 6 and for the tiger it’s probably closer to 8. That being said I think it would be interesting if tanks take longer to aim the further their targets are, just to make charging them down with mediums less suicidal.
I think six would be reasonable. 5 just seems terribly slow in game it’s challenging
im now finally winning multiplayer games, mainly thanks to your videos. :) watch your videos every day
Yeah I finally started playing some comp matches and winning games using what I have learned. even though I play with awful divisions.
Congratulations! Great to hear!
33:35 Look, it was a KING TIGER. You don't need to fire a 75mm AP shell at it to damage the transmission; the Tank is perfectly capable of doing that to itself!
Hahaha
Wait for the next games @ATKPWR.
The kids factor will soon strike hard. The youngest one is unbearable at the moment. The oldest one is an asshole. My patience is stretched hard 😂.
But you now how it is.
Hahaha too freaking true
I love your positive attitude and I think its the right decision not to post games where emotions get the better of you:P I really enjoy watching your videos when you're chill, excited and enjoy the game! Happy holidays and have a great next year!
P.s. props to Erwin for fighting till then end!
Thank you so much!
How to deal with Heavy Axis tanks. 1. Don't do anything just go a different direction, 2. harass them with artillery & mortars while keeping a scouts eyes on them, 3. use an AT rocket plane or AP cluster plane to strafe the target a few times.
panzer 4 despite being quite cheap has a nasty gun so against a panther they are a huge pain in the neck being able to kill tanks way above their weight class. 145mm of pen is no joke
I feel like Pansaardivisiona would do good in these armored only tournaments. plenty of panzerfaust/panzershrek, access to cheap spam armor and also the Nelonen (panzer IV) for dealing trading up against panthers. nice air force and the ability to spam infantry on the levels with an infantry division.
Good list! It’s 135mm of pen on the pz4 btw
@@atkpwrgaming yeah my bad but that 135 is still pretty capable against 90% of the tanks in the game with only the IS-2, Tiger 2 and jumbo being prominent vehicles you can't pen with regular AP.
This was such a great match to watch, really entertaining and of course fantastic play from wantsome
I agree! Thanks for watching!
Will say, your content has come a long way.
Thanks so much! I hope you are enjoying it!
Yes, I want some Rommel!
Yeah it’s been a while
I really feel for Rommel here, it's like I'm looking at one of my games lol. Just really bad luck all around.
Yeah sometimes nothing comes together it’s very frustrating
Have you ever seen a Python slowly constrict and break it's prey? That's what this game feels like.
Good analogy!
Rate of fire is highly dependent on many factors; quality of the loader (experience, strength, fatigue, etc), position of the ammo (angle of the turret, emptied racks, etc).
The Germans listed the Tiger 2 as having a RoF of 6-10, the British 6-7.5, and the Soviets 5.7.
Note, however, that the practical rate of fire of the Sherman was about double that (with a theoretical [yet entirely impractical] maximum of 20 rounds/minute). So the Tiger 2 firing slower than normal is accurate.
The thing is, Steel Divisions RoF isn't really derived from realism. Realistically, T-34s should also shoot slower due to their awkwardly placed ammo.
The problem with the Tigers is they shoot slower due to their greater power, but realistically speaking the damage/health systems means being 8 or 9 damage is an entirely moot point.
Great info! In game any rate of fire below six rpm just feels punishingly slow
gun was capable of the 10 - 12 rounds as said below but due to the gun not being designed for the tank it was too big and generally fired at 4-6 rounds / min when not moving - 6 rounds from the quick storage bins and 4 rounds there after. Both the size of shell and the position of the shells in the turret had an impact on loading but so did the recoil of the barrel, a recuperator was needed to obsorb part the resultant energy when firing slowing down the action. A shell could not be pre positioned (held) prior to the completion of the firing process due to violence of the recoil in the tank. The king had bigger shells and fired one less per min. The earlier Tigers also suffered with ranging difficulties with most optics designed for shorter ranges - optics were not a redesign for the greater range - the range magnification was retained
Thanks for that information!
Actually hilarious how few units are on the map in the first 10 mins
Seriously though hahaha
Rate of fire of King's Tigers was generally around 6-8 per minute (depending on crew basically)
I think it should be 6 rpm would be reasonable
@@atkpwrgaming yup just like irl with them 1 or 2 extra secs for veterancy
To anyone who's got some time on his hands, how do I utilize light armor the best way? I can't seem to get value out of it
Use it at shorter ranges to overwhelm enemy infantry or hunt armored cars or halftracks or equivalents
Towns and yellow forest are the place for them. And use them in support of infantry. Not to take on other tanks at all
No double KT= no power and fun!
Hahaha too true! Do you still play anymore?
German 88’s were one piece rounds, should not take much longer than a 75 or 76mm
It’s not until rounds get big enough to have separate two piece shell and powder bag (usually in a metal case, like the Russian 152, that there is a substantial difference.
Agreed. It’s way too slow it’s painful
The Königstiger did not get transmission damage from the pak40
German panzer get transmission damage right away from the factory
Hahaha truth
I think the German 88 needs to be buffed to 2.2 damage on its he
Lots of units need an HE buff on both sides
Hi AtkPwr
I have found out, that, acording to german trainingmanuals, the rate of Fire on a Kingtiger should have been 6-7 round per minute. But later tasting from the Sowjets showed that is more around 5-6 rounds per minute.
Well then this is terribly slow
The king tiger & the tiger have both the same 88 AA gun. So they fire the same. The king tiger just have more armor ( to face air and more chalenging tanck of allies in the end of war).
Nope. 2 different guns firing 2 different shells. Only the projectiles were the same.
IRL Yes, but the stats are different in-game for ballance reasons
Yeah no definitely not the same gun xD
That's like saying the 75mm cannon of the Sherman tank is "exactly the same" as a 75 mm artillery gun. :b
Yeah I’m not sure that’s accurate 😁
panther must have 12 hp. it literally heavy tank.
Er, no. The Panther was literally a medium tank. (Weighing 44 tons, compared to 42-ton Sherman and opposed to the 54-ton Tiger).
@@junibug6790 so why Char b1 22 tons heavy tank. and КВ-1С 42 ton heavy.
panther heavy tank
@@junibug6790 and sherman Jumbo have 38 ton. other sherman ~30-ton.
30-ton = medium, 44ton = medium then you 🤡🤡
I believe it’s classified as a medium tank in game. And at least the Germans looked at it as a medium tank as well
