Living In Yuma Az winter visitor capital we get 100,000 people from northern tier states Canada etc., so thrifting is busy now but off season its packed and not as much fun,, still sourced a nice Tiffany vase 8 inch paid $1.00 two months sold for $82.00

I soooo dislike crowds! Recently, I went to the Red White and Blue store for the first time. I was so overwhelmed that I didn't shop much 😂 Next time I will be more prepared and go in some odd hours to try to escape the crowd. Prices were very good!

When I first started going to Red White and Blue in my state about 10 years ago the prices were so cheap! You could get so many amazing treasures! After the pandemic the prices went up and only got worse! Imiss thrift store prices pre-pandemic 😢
There was still quite a bit of deals I think I just didn't like cash only
There will always be people in Thrift Stores. Tune them out. Crowds don’t faze me.

That hustle & bustle is the reason I left Broward County (SE FL) and moved across the state to west coast. The older I got the less I could tolerate the big city & traffic.I sure dont miss it.

Hi Kat! Loved sourcing with you in Miami ~ lots of cool finds & some excellent brands. I was very excited when you found the Pendleton Pillow. I sold Pendleton Blankets, clothing & accessories in a great little shop in Canmore (mountain town), Alberta. I managed to collect quite alot while working there. It was on the expensive side being imported (staff discount was 40% off which helped alot). The 'Rae Dunn' blanket was a surprise! I would also pay up for quality & the unusual. So happy for you with a new 'grandchild'. Congrats to you son & his wife! 🎉

I always grab a cart then look at the tv screen fir all the color discounts. Normally, theres four colors, 3 have 50 or 75% off.

There were still quite a few things to find with profit!
We have RWBs near me. Everything is priced to sell at 50% off, meaning their regular prices are double what they should be. They are large stores, but about 85% of the time, they price really high when they think it’s remotely valuable.
They do miss quite a bit, so when I go there, I am looking for more obscure brands. I sell mostly fashion. I do have to be careful because after a couple of hours, my brain starts to accept the higher prices and I might make bad decisions based on that and plain exhaustion.
But I will say it’s one of the funner places to go because I will 100% see the brands I want to sell because they acquire their stock from all over the country. Recently I found an almost new pair of knee high Freebird boots for $10 (not even on sale) because they thought the distress was real. Retail $350.

yeah they get so much they cannot curate every item so they bag it hang it on wall for us anyway yesterday I had 20 min to shop before doctor appt sourced a sterling Evans hexagon table lighter with a date of 1961 as well a poodle medallion an original part of base paid $4.50 they list for $100 plus we look for diff stuff,,,

Hi Kat, great video. Do you authenticate the Coach purse in order to sell? I know there are so many fakes. I haven’t picked any up since I am not sure what is “real”. Any tips?
I've spotted a few fake ones. One of the biggest giveaways besides quality is stitching lining up and zippers not saying China. Most I find are lower end ones but if I find a high dollar one I would pay to get it authenticated
