Russ should've went to the clippers you Lakers "Lebron" fans make it sooooooo hard for people to hoop if they're in slump. Russ is still hooping but playing with Lebron is impossible to flourish if that isn't your play style and you're ball dominant. That's why I don't even argue basketball no more😂😂😂😂
When I first saw this video I was soooooo grateful. all the Russ haters NEED to shut up. The man gets criticized for no reason sometimes it's so unfair. Yes he turns the ball over but guess what so does LeBron so does James harden so does Steph so does KD so does the greek freak. Why does it always seem like Russ is the only one that gets criticized he may not be doing great this season but he's still a good player stop acting like he's not.
I remember before the season started Cash kept saying they don't need Russ to get triple doubles, and that they're empty stats. I just didn't understand that statement because, as a Russ fan, almost every time he gets a triple double he wins. Teams are better when he controls the pace. One of the reasons why the Lakers aren't doing so well is because the team plays at Lebron's or AD's pace, when they honestly should be playing at Russ'. Russ plays too fast for them, that's one of the reasons why he's turning over the ball alot. He passes the ball to spots where he thinks his teammates can get to, but in reality the rest of the team can't keep up because they're not used to someone throwing the ball to spots that they aren't used to. Russ and LeBron are both great playmakers but the way they playmake are almost completely opposite. It's hard for players to get used to two different playbooks, especially two completely different ones. I'm not making an excuse for Russ' subpar season, his fg percentage has been utterly horrifying and he still hasn't learned to play in other systems. I'm just saying the Lakers need to play to his strengths to win more regular season games, and fully get what they wanted when they traded for him. Use Russ' playbook 70% of the time and then use LeBron's playbook the other 30%. Then when the post season starts they go 90% LeBron and 10% Russ. LeBron is a post season superstar and Russ is a regular season superstar. It's been that way for years so why not play that way?
I watch you all the time but that statement is you sad is just the Jordan era is crossing the line “IF DONT WANNA PLAY THAT WAY DONT PLAY, DONT PLAY THAT WAY.”
Everybody still wasn’t avg a trip double before Russ nor even now. He’s like what curry did with the three. I’m sure other players would if they could obviously luka been trying
No one plays defense plus, offensive players get all fouls. Don't be that guy who say James Harden is better than Michael because he scores a lot LMAO Casual
See Cash you can’t get mad bc a guy like Andy Phillip was shooting like that bro. You have to simulate how they would be if you brought their skills up to modern day. You really think a guy who probably pioneered shooting from deep, like literally came up with the idea, would be able to do a step back if he was born in the modern day?
That, and it's much harder to play defense when players are shooting it from wherever. Rudy Gobert is an elite rim protector, but he's a liability in the playoffs because he can't guard the perimeter. I also think there's a lot more scoring talent on the floor than a couple decades ago.
Here's the thing bout the competition thing Cash. Back then, Im talkin 50's n 60's, guys weren't as skilled offensively nowhere near like today bc basketball was still new remember, the NBA wasn't established till 1945 n the first NBA season didn't take place till 1946 basketball was still new n the most important parts of the game that determined the TEAMS success was heavily favored not one player scoring a bunch of points, getting ankle breakers, dropping 30 a game it was defense, big men, rebounding, and getting the best shot off like why do you think the three-point; a shot where you're farther way from basket wasn't heavily favored?? The 90's, guys are at their peak defensively n offensively in terms of ball movement and passing...AKA getting the best shot off in the most efficient way. Just bc guys weren't dropping 30-10-7 a game doesn't diminish them being great competition. Defense (which is more important than offense really), rebounding, efficiency, physicality was more favored than individual achievements that why niggas was so in awe of Mj back in the day like what he was doin what nobody else was doin. Guys were skilled on the defensive side of the ball n rebounding, ball movement, passing, efficiency just as guys are on offense today. Even back (80's n 90's) then, dudes could still score very well... but the majority def. game were either just as good or better than their offensive game that's why the 90's are considered the best era of basketball cuz were getting the best of both worlds. Pistons, Pacers, Utah, Knicks, Celtics, Lakers, Supersonics, Blazers like you know the dudes on those teams n how skilled they were defensively as well as offensively...just not as much as today offensively. Like niggas today SUCK at defense as well as the physicality n movement of the ball compared to the 90's... like Mj faced comp. They may not be flashy, have the popularity n exposure, 3pt stepback handle fancy game YOU and every other basketball casual enjoys...but they could still whoop this NBA @$$. Quit actin like the 90's were an era of scrubs n Mj was one of em...quit comparing eras bc mainly of everything I just explained bout how the game has changed...MJ faced comp...do yo research nigga... Imma basketball guru...you a basketball casual compared to me...I will smoke yo @$$ in any category foo😭😭😭
I mean luka has more triple doubles but Kobe and Jordan secured wins doing it but again luka has only been in the league for like 3-4 years so he has a lot of accomplish
I’ve always said he’s one of my favorite point guards ever. But let’s keep it real here. He ain’t helping the Lakers. He and LeBron don’t fit and will never fit.
It's a weird trend. The old school more physical game, players shot less threes and took it to the paint or mid range more. The new school less physical game players shoot more threes. One would think that a more physical game would have players choosing to stay on the perimeter more and a less physical game have players going to the paint more. Either way. Basketball is the best sport to me
About that Russ triple-doubles and the team's win pct, you can't immediately say that the triple-doubles positively affects the team's win pct. All that shows is correlation, not causation. That's like saying more crimes, attracts more citizen. You gotta pinpoint which affects which. I can guarantee you that same reasoning will also apply to Russ in his Lakers season(s).
Russ hasn't had a lot of triple double seasons, but if you watched Russ in his career, you would know that Russ now and what he was two years ago, is a totally different player. He is way out of his prime.
The only reason there is more “talent” in the NBA now is because more people are supported in trying to get in. Like it’s socially acceptable to train from 6 years old to be the 14th guy on the bench every night. So of course overall it’s better than in the 80s when half the guys probably needed a second job to pay bills.
but when you compare guys like Jordan and Lebron you have to take the evolution of society and the game out of it and bring them to the same level. For instance, you think if Jordan played in todays nba he wouldn’t shoot and make more 3’s? And lebron would probably score more and have less assists in the 80s.
This is what happens when you get lost in the sauce of advanced analytics in basketball… but when we take a step back and look at the big picture, we see Russ with no rings and a guaranteed first round exit in the seasons his teams actually make the playoffs.

Russ is still hooping but playing with Lebron is impossible to flourish if that isn't your play style and you're ball dominant. That's why I don't even argue basketball no more😂😂😂😂
No lies detected
This comment is f***ing amazing⚡️
I watch you all the time but that statement is you sad is just the Jordan era is crossing the line “IF DONT WANNA PLAY THAT WAY DONT PLAY, DONT PLAY THAT WAY.”
No one:
Cash: Its inevable yall, 2:10🤣🤣😮💨😮💨
think ya meant inevitable dawg u swagged tho my g😮💨
"3 for 19 and still smiling "
Russ’ win % is 71% when he records a triple double but even at the start of the game teams have a 50/50 shot
Westbrook has had some very off games but tbh… RUSS ISNT THE PROBLEM!!!!
It’s nooooo defense now, rules have allowed offense to bolster stats
That, and it's much harder to play defense when players are shooting it from wherever. Rudy Gobert is an elite rim protector, but he's a liability in the playoffs because he can't guard the perimeter. I also think there's a lot more scoring talent on the floor than a couple decades ago.
Cash can you do My career mode
This is a great video idea to do on We've All Been Fooled About Russell Westbrook... in this video in life right know today for us only okay
So basically in order for the Lakers to win a championship they got let Westbrook get a triple double everytime 😂😂🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️💯
Cash why you looking away from the camera like pay attention
I mean luka has more triple doubles but Kobe and Jordan secured wins doing it but again luka has only been in the league for like 3-4 years so he has a lot of accomplish
6:13 3/19 and 19 points ?????? 🤔
I’ve always said he’s one of my favorite point guards ever. But let’s keep it real here. He ain’t helping the Lakers. He and LeBron don’t fit and will never fit.
Put some respect on Andy Phillips name
I feel a triple double is acceptable if your shooting was consistent or efficient not just jacking up shots
same a triple-double and efficient shooting is where it is at.
Cash smiles when LeBron shows up like Flight reacts to Curry
It's a weird trend. The old school more physical game, players shot less threes and took it to the paint or mid range more. The new school less physical game players shoot more threes. One would think that a more physical game would have players choosing to stay on the perimeter more and a less physical game have players going to the paint more. Either way. Basketball is the best sport to me
Idc what this video says he still needs to get traded
facts 😂😂
About that Russ triple-doubles and the team's win pct, you can't immediately say that the triple-doubles positively affects the team's win pct. All that shows is correlation, not causation.
That's like saying more crimes, attracts more citizen. You gotta pinpoint which affects which. I can guarantee you that same reasoning will also apply to Russ in his Lakers season(s).
Russ hasn't had a lot of triple double seasons, but if you watched Russ in his career, you would know that Russ now and what he was two years ago, is a totally different player. He is way out of his prime.
@@otislea1451 I don't think you understand the point.
Yo cash a good video idea is coyote Peterson getting bite by all these animals
Bro I’m so early first time being this early 😭😭😭keep up bro from UK
This is what happens when you get lost in the sauce of advanced analytics in basketball… but when we take a step back and look at the big picture, we see Russ with no rings and a guaranteed first round exit in the seasons his teams actually make the playoffs.
no way you score 50 in any era of NBA. We have all seen you play
How can someone be a lakers fan in 2022 and be serious about it
Cash look like dory the way he was inching to the camera
please react to we thought this was impossible by jxmyhighroller its a lebron video
