“A light in the mist” is so true. Bristle’Frost is my favorite character. She sacrificed her own life. Because of that,the warrior code changed in her honor. ❤️
CrookedStar's Promise by far was the best written, and emotionally straining book for me, it house so much of a journey, and really made you feel every emotion CrookedStar felt, immersing you into the story and pain

Goosefeather’s Curse is such an underrated tragedy. There is absolutely nothing happy in that book. All that it’s about is Starclan torturing a poor cat to death 😭

He named the clans. *"i have traveled so far and loved so much, and yet i am still following the sun trail, entering new hunting grounds."* last thoughts and last phrase in the dawn of the clans franchise. Without him the entire timeline would be different.
When Ravenpaw died I was crying so much. BlueStar’s life was pretty bad. Yellowfang had a give up her lot and kill her kit. Bristlefrost sacrificed herself and Graystripe died
i cried when hollyleaf supposedly died (tunnels, i didnt read hollyleafs story) and in TLH. also i was a tigerstar fan so the darkest hour RIPPED me to tears.
For me in the first arc it’s the darkest hour because in almost the whole book they thought they were fighting till the end but they end up winning with the power of star clan
I only cried on 2 deaths: Moonflower and Purdy. I didnt cry on Moonflower bc i liked her as a character, but because of Bluepaw's reaction. And for Purdy, i just loved that guy. I almost cried on a lot of others, but i had to hold back my tears because i was with my family-

And I picked up The First Battle (the 3rd book) thinking it was the first because of the name, The first battle, I was reading it and wasn't used to cats dying in books I read and Turtletail and become my favorite. But when she went to Tom to get her kits back and got hit by the car I cried for HOURS. I was at least 8 back then.
The only book so far (I’ve read every series until the broken code and Hawk Wings extra edition) that has made me cry is the star trial. (The last book to dawn of the clans). I cried so hard when Gray Wing died.
I don’t know why but when I was in 2nd grade, I was reading a book on this website. Can you guess? It was Into the Wild. The first book I ever read. When I got to the part of spottedleafs death, I almost cried infornt of my whole class. I liked spottedleafs personality and how her and firepaw(star) were like friends. But how firepaw(star) had a crush on her was kinda funny 🫢
Crookedstars promise made me genuinely cry he loved rainflower even though she hated him all because he broke his jaw he was alienated by his clan, puppeted by mapleshade and he lost his loved ones Rainflower is one of the worst characters tbh
