It must have been really odd and nerve wracking going out with Queen and performing their songs in a way that rings true to the original but also echos your own style. I'm a brand new fan of Adam's, but I absolutely adore him! His voice is stunning and he's so full of life! I absolutely love his music.
When will people stop all these comparisons of Adam with Freddy or other artists? Who's better, who's worse... what exactly are you trying to figure out? If someone hasn't noticed, the tour called "QUEEN feat ADAM LAMBERT", end of story! So if you can not deal with that, go watching something else... no one won't hinder or cry! Especially this show has been made to give tribute the Freddy's memory... SΟ SAY SOMETHING NICE OR SHUP UP!
we have just one problem..there isn't a better vocalist.Adam is one of the best live vocalist i've ever seen in my life.and these songs are pretty hard to sing live..do you get that? i don't think honestly.But we have to admit that a lot of ppl still have a big problem with homosexuality.

I HATE Casting-Shows ... I hate American Idol, and so on.. BUT I LOVE ADAM LAMBERT!!! He is the one and only really singer, star, A REAL talent that a casting show has brought to us. If we needed all casting shows in the world to find Adam ... then each show was completely justified.
Because Marc Martel has NO stage presence or style of his own, and they did not want a Freddie imitator except for the tribute band. They had a 3-D image of THE REAL FREDDIE appear twice in this concert. It's their music, their band, they own it, so their choice. Oh, and I think they know better what Freddie would like since they worked with him for years and were with him to the very end. Also, they know more about their own music than you. Just go watch the Extravaganza videos.
It's pretty fucked up that people are bashing an extraordinary singer such as Adam . I'm sure Adam reads these comments and it sucks because he deserves so much better. Not to worry his real and true fans will always stick by him we know what a true superstar he truly is. Haters will be haters. As for the new fans welcome you are in for a wild ride. how I see it is if brian and rodger invited adam to do the shows with them, they clearly had faith in him to the point that they felt freddie wouldve been proud. they were making a huge risk yes, but they felt adam wouldve been the better suitor for this task.

Adam has written at least 30 or so songs, a few were on his first album (Down the Rabbit Hole, Strut, Broken Open, Aftermath) and 12 were on his second album. However, his career is just beginning. But, writing songs is not a requirement for being a good singer, i.e. Elvis, Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bocelli, MANY have never written any songs. Cowell has nothing to do with it; over 30 million people watched Idol in Adam's year, and their votes were what started his career by voting him runner-up.
