- Hey Angelz! It's time for another restoration video-this time with two Lisa Frank Fab Friends dolls I've been searching YEARS for... both variants of Vega! I finally came across a pink-haired nylon Vega at an affordable price, then came across brown-haired polypropylene Vega shortly after. Join me in restoring both of these fab divas!

Shampoo - Dawn Dish Soap
Conditioner - V05 Moisturizing Conditioner (I buy this from Dollar Tree, please don't use expensive conditioner; please do NOT use fabric softener!)

That is honestly the best grade of polypropylene I've ever seen...also purple streaks would look BOMB on brunette Vega xx

Saran is good when it’s NEW, but breakage can be so bad with anything slightly used by kids.
I never tried the Dollfie water wax but i do use a human hair wax and, in my experience, it works really well. The only thing I'm not sure about is longevity lol. Also like you I'm so against fabric softener, it never worked for me ever lol

I loveee this type of video! You did a great job they look fantastic! Also, glueing wouldn’t have helped with the shedding. poly usually breaks above the rooting ( look on the inside of a doll with dry rotting hair, you’ll see the rooting line looks normal) also I believe different colors degrade differently/not as fast hence why the light brown fell out and the darker didn’t! I could be wrong tho ^_^

I think the reason(and the reason I hate) nylon is because it can be hard to wash. I’ve washed everything rainbow high doll and some times they come out different but it’s always dry at the ends. It drives me nuts
