Hello Miranda! Hope you've had a nice week! I love art work of people, printed, painted, actual photos, drawn, any type of art of people! The little boy at the right after the apple art was just precious!💙 The old photo beside it of the older couple was a great piece, as well as that gorgeous ornate frame above them! I have a smaller teapot of a house, and a minature one as well. You're so right, the dishes with the pink is definitely stunning!🌸 Oh My.. the tall oil lamp at 4:06 is gorgeous!😮 and the other lamp there is so beautiful, it reminds me of my bedside lamp, which is the lamp that started my collection addiction of lamps!😊 I collect oil lamps as well, although I'm sure that one was probably electric. That white antique sofa was beautiful!🤍 That store is def one I'd visit if I ever came thru town and of course the store your booth is in! The wood scoop utensil you picked up was a unique piece. The hutch was A very pretty piece. The chair just after the "Holiday Hangover" booth is also a beautiful piece! I love collecting old side chairs with it without upholstery, I'd really love to find one with the tufting! Oh my goodness.. the silver tea pitcher with the fall florals sitting on the blue hutch..i want one like that so bad! All thru my childhood my mom had on just like that, dents & all, she keep sweet tea in. She gave it to me when my son was young & it sat on a table udder a tree in my yard with red impatients in it. It could no longer be used for tea.. but it went missing. I honestly have no clue what happened to it, we lived way down a dirt road in the country! My guess is the teenage kids that were always there had something to do with it🤔 But I try to collect all the pieces i can that my mom & grandma had in my childhood. Your booth looks really pretty! At the next store, just after the books, I loved the 3 pretty frames with the old photos.. the ones you mentioned. Lots of gorgeous dishes! Oh Wow the old photo album is cool!😮 I remember the first one.. it was beautiful, had that Victorian look. I love Old brooches, I've collected quite a few, asking with some earrings & necklaces. But I really want a cameo! I want to mount it on a piece of velvet & put it in a 5×7 ornate frame! Makes A beautiful art piece! No luck finding an old one yet!🫤 Oh the bed & breakfast is gorgeous! Such beautiful furniture & rooms are amazing! I'd love to stay there! We had A ton of the cottage teapots in our thrift store back in Tennessee. A lady from Kentucky bought every one of them, she collected them. I had only taken one home, so that's how i got mine, i left the rest to sell. She was thrilled & i was happy for her!😊 Of Course I love the frame, its beautiful! Thanks so much for taking us on that shopping trip, I enjoyed it so much! You had some pretty little finds. I live in Northern California and recently went on vacation to Clarksville, TN. We drove up into KY to Hopkinsville and Russellville. I fell in love with your area of the country. It is so green and woodsy. I hope to visit in the fall to see the colors of the trees. Thank you for the tour.
Getting to watch your videos and to hear you narrate with your most beautiful accent (that I thought was a western NC accent, but then learned you are in KY) is such a joy. It's like sitting down and having tea with a friend. Been meaning to say Pinky and BlueBoy look great hung beside your hutch. Back in the early 90's I had a subscription to Victorian magazine and I was glad to see that it's still being published. Thank you for ALL the work you put into your channel. Hey Maranda! I did come and visit Glasgow 2 weekends ago and had a great time! I went to quite a few of the places you had mentioned before to include Barren River Consignments, The Art and Antiques Gallery and the Shabby Chick. BRC had a lot from which to choose and the prices were phenomenal. If I lived closer, I would be in there frequently!! I almost bought this set of 4 white chickens with red combs of different sizes, but I swear I don't have a place for them. Hands down fave is The Shabby Chick. It is soooo pretty and so is your booth. I did stop and tell the sweet lady at the front about finding you on You Tube and wanted to make the drive to check out the shop and Glasgow. I love the lockers to secure purses and bags so I could shop unencumbered. Capped off the day with food from The Gondolier. Shared a calzone and a slice of the biggest and best chocolate cake I've had in a long time. Everyone there was so friendly. So, a great day and I will be back! Thank you again for the recommendations:-)
Just went to see how far Barren River was from me and it’s 10 hours. My daughter and I love to thrift and make a mini vacation out of it. We are thinking of making the drive one day soon

When you were looking in the jewelry case, I noticed some silver flatware. I suggest you collect sterling flatware, not silverplate, if you haven't already. I've been collecting it for over 40 years. I prefer Tiffany, Gorham and Durgin. It is lasting in durability itself and holds its value. Lovely to use on the table.

As soon as we reach the goal of owning our own home one day I definitely want to get into investing in those higher quality pieces that will last and hold value. So good to have for many reasons. I love the blue and white Dutch pitcher. Because I live in Holland Michigan my guess is that the flowers the Dutch girl is holding would be tulips. Therefore I think a beautiful bouquet of red and yellow tulips would look perfect in that vase! I’m also wondering if it could be delft or a replica of delft?
