Provoked by Kripacharya and Aswathama, Karna launches a vicious attack on the Pandava soldiers. Krishna asks Bheem's son - Ghatotkach the Rakshas - to stop Karna. Ghatotkach uses his demonic illusions to attack Karna and the Kaurava soldiers. Overwhelmed by Ghatotkach, Duryodhan asks Karna to use his Shakti weapon to destroy him. Karna has been saving this weapon for Arjun, but to save the day, he is forced to use it on Ghatotkach.

Ghatotkacha is indomitable warrior. Even karna fled away from him before ashwathama saves him. At one point he was about to kill karna, he broke the charioteer of karna and killed horses. And he was about to aim to kill karna aswasthhama swooped in and saved him.. In the end karna had no choice but to use his one and only shakti weapon which has been saving for Arjuna.. Ghatotkacha used his advantage of being rakshasa. And grown tall and fall in kourava army. And killed 1 Akshouni. But this tv serials and all the articles of glorifying karna will never show this.
