United States
Приєднався 14 гру 2021
Mahabharata is one of the major epics of the World. It tells the story of mankind in a way which is unparalleled in world literature. Although considered by many as a Mythology, it is, in fact, the cultural history of the people of the Bharata land (India). The characters of the Mahabharata might be fictitious, but their dreams, ambitions, and flaws are very real and still exists in us. The great sage Maharishi Krishna Dwaipayan Vyasa composed the epic in Sanskrit. Later many others have contributed to the storyline. Storytellers over the ages have told the stories of Mahabharata in different languages. Over the ages, the epic has inspired many artists, poets, writers, filmmakers, theater directors and playwrights to create new works of art. This channel tells the story once again in an audio podcast format. Each episode is written, directed and narrated by Sudipta Bhawmik. Music and audio design and production done by Avi Ziv.

Goosebumps!
Sir all this story from ved vyas version?
I'm no expert, I'm just an average American middle-aged white guy who has an interest in the Philosophy of Religion. To me, it seems that knowing these tales is an important part of understanding Hinduism. Thank you for posting these episodes. They've been a great resource and I am very appreciative of your efforts to produce them. The quality is very high, especially considering it's free content anyway. A Like and Subscribe was a small price to pay imo.
Very good
Definitely a great recommendation from UA-cam... It's like a beautiful discovery.
Armageddon 😂❤
Thank you for saying it in a simple way 🙏

So much misinformation in this narration. please refer to books instead of these videos
Can someone tell me if the whole story is finished here
One question... Why is taking 2 months for 1 episode? Can't wait for so long!!!

Dear creator, Mahabharata was a "yadartha ethihasa" as said by Vedavyasa in the beginning of Mahabharata. This is so true that Vedavyasa keeps you watching and gets mesmerised while you listen or read the Mahabharata.
verry good narration
Infinite thanks to you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow

I really enjoyed stories of mahabharata and I am learning much more.. thanks to you … please keep creating content …
You are calling it a poen that vyasa composed. Does it mean that it was fictional?
yeah same question
Not really. History was written as poems in ancient times. Composing in this context simply means writing it the form of a poem. He didn’t call it fictional
Lord Krishna touched Yudhishthir’s feet ?? 1:54
Yes, Krishna is a Nephew to Yudhistir as Kunti(Yudhistir's Mom) is Vasudev's sister(Krishna's Dad).
i have heard each one of the episodes upto this one. To be honest i am really struggling with what i hear. so many times. particularly with the conduct of Arjuna and brahmins eating meat. It hasnt affected my faith but has caused me to desire a deeper understanding. in my heart i trust that my bemusement is due to a lack of understanding
Hi, I'm not claiming to be an expert but from what I have read of the Mahabharata and the other texts. It Was Brahmins that were vegetarians. Arjuna and his brother were Kshatriyas. Different rules applies to different varnas
Kshatriyas do eat meat, so Arjuna does. But what bothers me is there's not really much care about animals in general as opposed to what I thought? Like Arjuna and Krishna going for boar hunt and then destroying the forest resulting in the killing of thousands of animals
It is so comforting hearing such a beautiful narrative. Hare Krishna.
