Great slow mo shots, great music, great editing, great sound, I love the honest reviews you guys give. You are probably the best bike related channel on UA-cam now IMO. I absolutely loved the H2(R) review and the hits keep on coming. I look forward to you guys being TopGear for bikes, good luck. Now it's back to American bike culture where some bozo will argue at me that the new R1 is no good because the brake disc diameter is 1mm less than the BMW which is king because of 3 more hp. Lord give me patience with these foos :-)
Most motorcyclists make better car drivers than just car drivers, I'd place my bets on Chris being an awesome driver. would be great to see you on Top Gear, more bike vs car challenges!
Lots of cool tech that is useless on the street and can only be accessed on track by a tiny minority of users. They're basically building race bikes for marketing purposes. Even on track, most people would be better off with a ten year old bike and dozens of track days that the difference in price would cover. I'm totally over riding sport bikes on the street anyway, they're just annoying to ride at a legal and safe speed. Anyone who wants one anyway should get it. Just don't worry about whether this or the BMW or Ducati is the "best," because that means nothing except for bench racing your buddies at Starbucks after your group ride. Just get the one that you like. The BMW has cruise control and the Ducati is an Italian stunner...
The r1 represents, to me atleast, the r35 gtr of the bike world with its ease, large amount of tech, and relative cheapness for the performance. But the r1 is less of a pig compared to its competitors than the gtr is.
It's less powerful than the Panigale 1199, 25 KG heavier and certainly doesn't look or sound as good as Panigale. How can it be better than the Panigale 1199 then? and I am not talking about Panigale R superleggera.
He said the chassis is better. Especially the 1199 the chassis is so stiff, absolutely no flex in that thing. Only bike that will make you sore going down a straight. And if you don't agree, you've obviously never ridden an 1199
Chris is the best bike reviewer out there. In fact, scrap Top Gear, replace it with Sixth Gear with Chris as the lead presenter!
Nick Burns One day Nick!
Nick Burns god almighty clarckson is going to punish you with a fist to your face

ellomirza Top Gear for bikes... that's not a compliment!
***** STFU hater lol. Go back to Portland and don't tell anyone about your new favorite indie band.
ellomirza
That's one of the most retarded things i've read, ever.
***** Glad I could help your complex.

Thks
0:11 that's some Casey stonner shit right there.
Really great channel; always top reviews... Oh and any jobs going? ;)
Tell you prefer this one over the ducati panigale1299?
Martin DaDa Nah! He is just saying that to make Yamaha happy! No one would pick anything over a Panigale.
Sam R tons of people would.
Put on a racing exhaust and a ballistic battery on that r1 like they did with the Ducati 1299 and the hp4 and let's see how it handles
The R1, amazing as it is will be completely overhauled to comply with the euro 4 emissions laws. By 2021
less talking, more riding
He did not seem as passionate as when he road the Kawasaki

When is the next shit bike challenge coming out :-)
Aprilia
Man it's ugly. The previous gen for me was the best looking bike i've ever seen.
Daniel Del Core The 2009 R1 was very good looking, but as for the best looking bike... only if you've only seen like 5 different bikes ever.
doesnt answer any new questions.
