  • I remembered to practice transitioning my hands from the downtubes (vertical body position) to the control bar (horizontal body position) on this run. I noticed the first transition on this video (about 5 seconds in) the transition from the control bar to the down tube was sloppy and too fast, which caused the glider to pitch up a little and get wobbly, which led to me uncrossing my feet--which just makes it harder to control the glider. Keep those feet crossed, Mike! (Video is so good for reviewing what went wrong and what went well.) Everything else was pretty decent--and this was my first successful foot landing in the knee-hangers. Overshot the target again, but not by all that much.
