American Abrams Tank Captured in Moscow: My Reaction🇺🇸

- German tanks are on Russian soil yet again, but this time…there’s a catch! These tanks are not here to take over the city, but are displayed as trophies instead in Park Pobedy (Victory Park.) So, in honor of Russia’s Victory Day, I decided to go see and film these Western tanks. I got an up-close look at a captured Abrams tank from the USA and a German Leopard tank. It was surreal to witness and touch these NATO tanks on Russian soil, and honestly it made me sad to see American tax dollars on display, used on weapons instead of on healthcare, education, or Americans in need of help.
Of course I am not trying to glamorize any military conflict, nor am I a military specialist, but I thought it would be important to show this to all to you, especially as an American living in Russia. I also asked Russians what they felt about this, and what they would say to the citizens of these NATO countries. I hope we can learn from the mistakes of the past, and honor our mutual victories in WW2. Russia and the USA were once allies, and I hope one day that will be the case again. Let’s move towards a future of peace and understanding, instead of division and hatred.

Absolutely agree! Wise word’s from such a young soldier.
In fact the guy does have 'Za otvagu' (For courage) medal which is given to soldiers who distinguished themselves while on a real combat duty. Good to see that he still remains reserved and not filled with hatred after being in the war.
Regarding other guys, being Russian myself, I feel a bit guilty for them. They look to be too hateful. But keep in mind that amusement parks like that attract certain kind of people. On the average Russians are less radical about the Ukrainians and Americans, mostly feeling the same as this soldier. I hope they will start serious compromise-based negotiations soon, and not keep the war going on until NATO countries involved. That will definitely bring us on the brink of destruction. I mean all of us, not Russians only. You cannot eat your military-industrial money and they cannot shield you against a fallout.

Hell, even my Kharkiv friends that were leaning pro-Russian politically before 2022 get killed and bombed by Russians. You should come soon, before you are restricted by your government to travel internationally. Russians are not permitted into the US but Americans can get 3 year visas to Russia easily. Once here however, you will never believe a word of your press again. Nothing printed or said by media or politicians is true.
I am an American living in Russia and love the openness and personal freedom, everyone gets along, it is very safe, low cost to live very well and for culture lovers it is unmatched for ease of access to great museums, drama, opera, ballet synphonies, art, jazz, rock, and very affordable for everyone. You can explore any city alone any time day or night and be perfectly safe and everyone you meet will be polite, happy and friendly. The streets are clean, transportation is cheap or free, but walking it best because you really get to meet the people out in the cities socializing or just enjoying the beautiful cities.
Most western visitors are shocked by how much their own media and government lied to them every day of their lives when the visitor sees cities in harmony, happy, conflict free, beautiful and so friendly. Ask anyone on the street for directions or advice and it is likely they will become new friends. You go out in the cities every day of months and not run into anyone who was rude or unpleasant, And all is accessible and affordable. The last time in NYC my Russian GF saw ad for an opera we both like so being a gentleman I sought tickets, the only opera house in the country with a performance that night at the MET cost, mid grade seats, cost me $1600 for a performance and venue that was inferior in every way in staging, acoustics cast, sets and orchestra of lesser quality than what we can see/experience in any of 7 opera houses within walking distance from my home for $20, and free for students. There are 473 museums in my adopted city!! 600 beautiful parks, more canals for cruising or dinner than Venice, There is ore ballet performances every night in one city than all North America combined. It is a very civilized place with almost no crime was a woman, alone could walk through any region of a city of 7mil or any park alone and perfectly safe...at 3am. Walk into any pub or bar and find new friends who are very polite respectful, well mannered and cultured so after a few weeks of zero stress you get used to not being wary. So when going home you realize just how divided, angry rude and ignorant most people on the street or in clubs or shops are in your own town and how stressful daily life it. Imagine having zero debt, and a superior quality of life for $900 a month that included better food more culture, more friends zero stress, rent, utilities, cell phone, internet etc, And lower in smaller cities.

Yes, Russia helped India, but now they have a government that assassinates its opponents, leads a brutal war killing 1000 of their own each day and kidnaps people from India to refill their ranks. When I was in Russia last year for a conference, one attendee ended up sucking me into a discussion on the topic of the war. He was a Russian married to a Ukrainian,. His Ukrainian parents-in-law lived with them in Moscow and he was totally heartbroken by the war. He supported the war effort reluctantly but always wished the war could somehow have been avoided. What he said to me was "this time, if there is going to be a war between Ukraine and the West, let it not be held on Russian soil. That sounds unfair but after what happened last time, I cannot see it any other way."
I have a number of American friends who laugh at the idea that Russia is concerned about invasions from the West. But if you look at things through a Russian persopective and you see the Northern War of 1709 (which Russia won), a century later the Napoleonic Wars (which Russia won) and then a century later WWI (which Russia lost), and then 30 years later, WWII (which Russia won), and now 80 years later, this rabid Russophobia in the West coupled with an effort to set every country bordering Russia on fire that paranoia seems quite justified. It may or may not be fascism (since nobody seems to agree on what fascism is), but it seems to be a part of some grand cycle of power dynamics in Europe. So yes, I think history is repeating itself. To an American, a century is an insanely long time and the world has changed. But to European countries like Russia, a century is nothng.
Russians live in my town no problem, there is no anti russian racism here. What’s funny is the Ukrainians and Russians here live together in peace why can’t they do that back home appease Putin stop the war being your boys home alive rather than in caskets

I am an American against supporting Ukraine with taxpayer money. Americans should support USA, not get bogged down by wars on the other side of the globe.
Yes, it infuriates me that I pay so much in taxes; thousands, and it is squandered away, sending my money to a war I do not support. I am not a drain on my country's resources and economy, why should I pay taxes? I certainly do not want to pay taxes if it is used to prolong a war that is unjust. All this while there is rampant homelessness, drug addiction, and poverty here in the US. This is not a war fought for freedom, it is a business opportunity for the US and its allies. War is profit, and no one profits from was quite like the US does.

It doesent matter what you support. Geopolitics is a game played by the rich and powerful. You just a tool used in it. Moscow and washington clashing is inevitable to conclude the powerstruggle.

You are wise beyond your years. I have subscribed to your channel, and whenever I watch your videos I feel a little more optimistic about human nature and how connected we all are. There is much more that unites us than divides us.
I'm an American, 74 yo, an d I am ashamed and fearful of my government and what it has become. There is nothing democratic about America. We are ruled by the super-rich, the corporate monopolies, and the Military-Industrial Complex, and the members of both parties are their lapdogs and puppets. They have brainwashed most of our citizens to believe that what they are doing is in the name of free-market capitalism, and that as long as we don't give in to "evil" socialism and remain capitalist to the bone, then we are still "free." We are also heavily propagandized by our corporate-owned and controlled media, and the tens of millions of viewers who tune in daily are not the least bit aware of how propagandized (brainwashed) they are.
I am also ashamed of our hyper-aggressive foreign policy of imperialism and constant war-making. Our so-called "leaders" are not intelligent, reasonable people. They are arrogant, alpha-male/female sociopaths who think that America is somehow "blessed" by God to be the sole ruler of the planet. What passes for patriotism here is actually nationalism, and this nationalistic spirit is getting worse every day. I do not fear Putin or Xi-Jinping for inciting war. I fear our own government! They seem to WANT to go to war, and they are not smart enough to realize that, if we do, nobody will be the winner. It will be the final nail in the coffin of the existence of humankind.
I am very cynical and not at all optimistic about America and our government and what our leaders, in their arrogance and lust for war, are capable of. I think that it will take a massive movement by the people to turn things around. But you and your videos are a ray of sunlight, optimism, and hope.Thanks for all that you do!

My father in-law who served in the 8th air force and my great uncle who served in the army during WWII were greatly appreciative of the Russian Peoples help during the war. They knew that if it wasn't for their help they wouldn't have come back alive. Let' us all help Sasha and and all the young people throughout the world to have a peaceful and prosperous life. If we don't work for that then what is the point of living at all.

None of those were"other countries conflicts" all of them were created by the US. Vietnam for example was created by the US to prevent fair elections mandated by the UN after the French were defeated in 1954 wining independence. The UN mandated elections to be held in 1956 but the US did not want Vietnam to have elections because the people wanted to elect the hero general who defeated the French. The US murdered 3.8 million people to prevent elections. All the wars including Ukraine now are US creations and almost all are to prevent citizen choice. Washington hates Russia because Russia is a democracy that rejects US control like it had in the 1990s that impoverished the people of Russia and almost succeeded in the US goal of breaking up the country and taking control of its resources. The only reason that US plan did not work was Yeltsin keeping it secret that he resigned and appointed PM one of the honest, capable mid level government officials as temp leader who could not be corrupted. Against all odds, Putin was able to save the country which is the reason Washington hates him and why he is loved by the Russian people. The US usually stages coups or assassinations if they do not get their way so Russia and the world are very lucky US schemes did not work this one time.

My country Macedonia has suffered so much from the west these past couple of years, the west meddled in the elections so that the Pro-Russian party is not leading the country and these past years we had a Pro-West party who changed our country name from Republic of Macedonia to North Macedonia, entered NATO, sent lot of tanks and equipment to Ukraine, expelled Russian diplomats, made bigger issues with neighbouring countries and said "we will raise your salaries by 50%" while they did raise them, the price of everything went to 150%. But now I have hope, yesterday there we're presidential and parlamentary elections and the nationalist party which is Pro-Russian won.

В День Победы, я испытываю глубокое чувство благодарности к советскому народу, это были добрые и мужественные люди, готовые умереть за Родину, и дать возможность нормальной жизни, без войны, другому поколению. Я со слезами вспоминаю рассказы своей бабушки, ребёнка войны, как она искала очистки, обдирала кору, выкапывала корни из под снега, и нет, не для себя, для своих сестёр.. Бабушке было около 6 или 7 лет, сёстрам 2 и 3 года,её муж, мой дедушка, вообще ничего не хотел рассказывать про то время. Другие дедушка и бабушка старше, дедушка воевал, бабушка работала в тылу. Дед так, же как и другой, не хотел ничего рассказывать про войну, просто говорил ценить мирное время и чтить память павших.
Мне до сих пор трудно представить, как в одно мгновение, всё это может забыться, как я могу перестать помнить и уважать тех людей, которые были в этом? ВОВ коснулась практически каждой советской семьи, давай не забывать о них, давайте хотя бы 9 мая, мы не будем оскорблять их своими тупыми лозунгами(можем повторить и т. д) они бы повторения, точно не желали, давайте просто вспомним о всех и пожелаем, ныне живущим, мира
Я уверен, что вряд ли найдётся солдат, который гнил в окопах и получал ранения, который бы говорил "можем повторить". Это говорят люди, которые не собираются своими руками воевать, то есть хотят повторить на чужом горбу без ущерба для себя, очень не этичная позиция .
Можем повторить, в том случае если на нас нападут. И уже повторяем. Если не успокоятся, до берлина дойдем и парижа и фашингтона
У нас нет другого выбора. Россия не начинает войны. Она их заканчивает. Россия это кладбище для империй. Скольких мы уже закопали. Я сбился со счета.
