If you didn't know the origins of Counting Stars, you'd think it was one of the biggest stand-alone car reality shows in the world. And it is - but there's only one thing difference; Counting Cars is a spin-off of Pawn Stars, another extremely successful show.
Today, you might think that it's obvious that Counting Cars would be a hit reality show. We mean, who wouldn't want to watch a bunch of mean-looking guys with gruff voices fix cars and then flip them for profit? I mean, that's like peak car television right there. Right?
Yes, it may seem obvious now, but hindsight is 20/20. When Counting Cars were created for television, it was done as a spin-off of Pawn Stars, a widely successful show. However, Counting Cars has grown a lot since then and most of the show's newer fans don't even know that it's a spin-off show.
But we all know that success comes at a price. While Counting Cars is very popular today, it wasn't always so. The show had to overcome a lot of adversity and difficulties in its early days, and that period has a lot of secrets buried in it.

I’m a Count’s Kustoms customer and I’m in this video. The black Cadillac and refrigerator are mine. The show is much more real then you think. The cast and the rest of the shop has treated me with great respect. Danny deserves all his success.
I seen that episode. Really cool. Also seen your family bring food for the guys. Despite all this info I still like the show. Anyone that thinks ANY so called reality show is 100% real should not vote or reproduce 🤣🤣🤣

I dont care if the show is fake, every show that is on tv is fake, these guys put on a show that is entertaining to watch and it puts me in a space I enjoy for an hour. I miss new episode's and all the "actors" Love the car restorations that someone is doing.
I have been to his shop it is a real shop but these days its more of a museum then a body shop . they still do custom work but not at the location that you go threw when you go there.They have warehouse in the other part of that building that most of the work is done the part you see is where they film the show that is on history television

These are "Dark Secrets"? Even if you're not into cars, none of this should be a surprise to you! Honestly it's one of the "truest" reality shows out there, but in 2022 everyone knows nothing is real on tv
I'm a long time fan of the show. Im glad Scott got caught and let go. He had the personality of a turtle. Make new episodes and bring back Rockin Roli.

Didn't hear anything dark about Danny or the show. He the MAN and ran his business well on his own with good employees seems like a fun boss. Reality tv isn't real what a shocker. Ooh he was a count on tv and makes money in rock bands dark. Lmao

So you are on site for filming? NO, so a lot of what you are saying in this video is an OPINION. Not factual. Is some of it? Sure, but the way you make it seem, they have a script reading, go over their lines, then start filming like any regular show.
