  • This is the first episode out of three of our second trip to the Lake District. We were joined by 4 other trucks so made for a good convo and trip!
Our trip went all around the Lakes so it captures some great lanes and some stunning scenery, hope you enjoy!

Enjoyed this. i wonder if these Landrovers have front to rear diff lock. Looks like it was needed in some of the parts.

Hi there thanks for the comment, all of them had the standard difflock but none had front or rear lockers, just good drivers haha😉

Hi don’t like spoiling your fun but the last Ford you did in langdale isn’t allowed for vehicles to cross there’s a sign at both ends but not very clear

Which lane was the second one with the river crossing?

Hi there it’s currently got a TRO on it but the grid reference is (54.2959030, -3.0263350) if you have trailwise then search SD3389-04

This looks amazing! I’ve hit a few lanes in Surrey and the Peaks but not done the Lakes yet. Any chance I could tag along on your next trip. I have a 2000 Wrangler Sahara

Yeah mate sounds good, still waiting for things to be open until our next trip! But yeah the lanes in the Lake District are really good and offer some great scenery!

Why would any rational, responsible person want to do this mad stuff? It disturbs the enjoyment of nature by wildlife, walkers, horseriders and cyclists, it causes noise and exhaust pollution and it damages the fragile landscape. There have been numerous accidents on these tracks involving but not caused by pedestrians and there are clear signs of environmental damage as a direct result of this antisocial behaviour. The only legitimate access to areas of natural beauty with powered vehicles is for maintaining the landscape and people with disabilities. Otherwise it is simply hobby adventurism (the thrill eludes me personally). People who like adventures in vehicles could join the territorial army which has its own land to play on, or for the really adventurous you could volunteer to drive medical aid around in war zones, for which I believe there is always a demand. If not, just leave UK's national parks for the quiet enjoyment of rational, responsible people on two legs, cycles or horses. Driving cars and motorcycles in public parks is against the law in cities. Why would National Parks??

for the enjoyment of nature and hobby adventurism but in a vehicle.

What a load of rubbish …. He shouldn’t have gone through the Ford but the lanes have been there for hundreds of years , more damage done with all the walkers scaring the hills

@@DaveWhite43 "The lanes have been there for hundreds of years." Meaning what? They were created long before motor vehicles and not intended for them. Are you seriously suggesting that walkers' boots do as much damage as vehicles weighing several tons? Driving in public green spaces in cities is illegal and the police regularly impound and crush trail bikes and quad bikes etc. Why are the national park authorities sanctioning a minority of petrolheads spoiling the enjoyment of national parks by the majority on foot, cylce or horse?
