This looks like the best evidence for winter TRO,s ever .
To be fair I think it’s usually like that, hadn’t rained that much before we went
What is TRO?

Good fun!
Great video, beautifully produced. Looks like you guys had an amazing time. If i could have any one of those on the driveway it would have to be the 110 Puma for me please 😊
Thanks for the comment👍 haha yes she is a good looking truck! 🤩
Great video. Why was the new defender getting pulled everywhere?
Thanks man, it got stuck in a few places so we had the rope on just in case. As no-one liked hooking it up in deep mud again and again haha!
Amazing filiming Guy's
Thanks for the comment, appreciate that👍
Great watch. I’ve just bought a 1995 defender 90 300tdi too - you lot ever in Dorset?
Ah nice! I’m looking at maybe buying a defender 300tdi. We don’t normally go down that way we are usually in Wales, Peak District and Lake District. But we have plans to go to some other places for a change of scenery!
Was the new defender on air suspension or on coils
Think on coils but not 100% sure, needs a lift regardless to cope with that mud haha!
Landrver td5 has v8 engnine
They are all TD5 engines 👍
the new is really horrible
Didn’t perform great in the mud but was really good on the rocks to be fair!
all those landrovers are amazing, but i have to say the Disco 2 seemed to handle everything with ease!
Yeah it did very well! Have to give credit to the driver as well haha!
Wow! Great video! The guy with the new Defender deserves all our respect for not hasitating to test his new vehicle on such a tuff road. I also loved how you put your cars while camping. It reminded me about how pioneers used to do in the Wild West. Good job my friend!
Thank you! Yes he did well got stuck in! Yes it’s a great campsite we go there a lot!
👍👍🙏🙏@@lukegibbins2271
The older defenders 100x better than the Neww ones
Yeah can’t beat the old girls! 💪
Blimey that new defender had to be towed through with an old defender😂
Im guessing tyres were the problem 😅
Yeah needed a bit of encouragement!😂 Yeah tyres and ideally maybe a lift as well, then would be much better!
Doesn’t look like it has air suspension either does it? Probably would help a fair bit too.
@@TOFB yeah would of definitely helped! Just needed a bit more height!
And it also need a new design to look like the real Defender 😅 @@lukegibbins2271
Yeah definitely! Can’t beat an oldie 😍
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road? We're the pro auto lighting company for nearly 20 year and hoping to do some sponsorship with you!
Thanks Auxbeam, if you send me an email then we can discuss this further, l.c.creatives00@gmail.com, thank you!
@@lukegibbins2271 Sure! We send the details to your email! Looking forward to hear from you!
Nice video, but maybe next time lower the music.
Thanks mate, I’ll keep that in mind for the next one cheers!👍
I thought revving the balls off your 4x4 was completely against good practice when stuck ??
Each to their own methods, can be a higher risk of breaking something if you plant your foot though!
All the gear, no idea 😂
@@sliderdriver1 sometimes you gotta go for it haha!
Yes it is. These idiots are giving ramblers and horse riders the evidence they need to get green lanes closed to vehicles.
In mud it depends, if you have MT tyres sometimes it’s better to rev it up to clear the mud off the tread.
What happened with the toy car. I mean Defender 😂
What defender are you talking about? 😂
D2 cruised through
Yeah did well!
Some shite tyre choices there
Needs some muds or land dragons ideally!
I own a 03 -TD5 ..130 County ..had it from new ..I’ll never part with that ..I was watching the turning circle on the 130 in the vid ,has he got wheel spacers on that ?..Disco 2 the best looking motor there ( thinking man’s LR)😆.
Thanks for the comment, no it doesn’t have any spacers, haha yeah the D2’s are a good truck 😄
Lads we've got a defender 90 and id love to start getting evolved in going off road. any chance you could help make that happen
Nice mate 👍 Wales is a great place lots of easy tracks and hard tracks. Trailwise is a great membership to get to find green lanes all over the country!
Superb video. Used to do some ‘green laning’ with my mates about 15 years ago. Similar to the first part of your video. Great fun and you always had to be willing to get covered in mud. It made the experience feel more authentic.
Some lovely camera shots and the drone gives a great atmosphere view. Especially love those full twist moments like at 19.41 where the rear tyre is pushed hard up into the wheel arch yet the front is at full stretch and still can’t quite reach terra firma.
Nice music and you let the action do the talking.
Keep em coming Luke
Cheers (expat down here in Sydney)

Thank you for the comment I appreciate it! Ah you should get back out there on the lanes (especially down under I’ve seen some amazing videos there!) yes lots of mud especially this time of year haha! Thank you for the comment and yes more to come👍
If you get stuck in the mud change up a gear instead of revving the tit's of it 😎
Oh really does that help you get out? Haven’t heard that tip before😅
🇧🇭🙏🏼🙏🏼🇧🇭🙏🏼
Great video! I’m intrigued the 1st lane the new 90 seemed to be towed all the way through? Was it not capable enough in that mud and ruts? It seemed not to have air suspension and skinny at tyres so I’m guessing not? It looked like it did great on the 2nd lane.
Thanks for the comment! Yes it struggled a bit with the deep ruts and standard tyres, ideally need a lift and grippy tyres. But was fantastic on the 2nd lane, very capable👍
Was going to ask the very same question regarding the new 90 but the question had already been asked. 😊👍
Yeah I think a lift and it would be 10x better 👍
Great Video and a Top Line up of Motors 👌🏽👌🏽
Thanks mate appreciate the comment!👍they are some good trucks!!
The new piece of shit is getting towed everywhere. 🤣
Yeah it didn’t do very well in that deep mud, didn’t like it 😂
Better luck next time 👍
Lower the tyre pressure on all them vehicles they look rock hard your not on tarmac no more
Yeah always a tricky one when you’re going from tarmac road to track and then back on road, whether to air down to then air back up. But would have definitely helped!
well yeah i surpose its a bit tricky in the uk as the lanes are not very long and wouldn’t be as fun as you would just drive down them normally ahah with hard tyres makes it a bit more fun on the short lanes 😂😂great video anyway mate 👌
@@joehudz8584 yeah just makes it more exciting haha😂 thanks mate appreciate that! 👍
Guys, I watched your video with an open mind but as a disabled driver of a landrover & greenlanes being my only access as I can't walk, I'm gutted by your video. If you want to go play & hey, we all love that. Please do it on a payday where it doesn't matter. Don't ruin my limited access please as this is exactly why lanes are getting closed to us. If you enjoy lanes, great, I hope to meet you on one some day 🙂 but please pick your time of year to help us all keep them open.
To be fair that lane is pretty bad but you can see from the others that we did, that we aren’t trying to go out a ruin the lanes. We’ve been doing it for years and always try to have minimal damage and disruption 👍 thanks for the comment
@@lukegibbins2271 there is a ethos of walking the lane where possible and making an educated decision on whether to use it based on if your use will make it worse for others, we've previously not used lanes that are bad because it will make it worse or there is a high likelyhood of recovery. Personally, I'd not have taken the ruts route, and done some form of track maitenance, something you never see these days, it's like it's a "not my problem" but contributing to the damage it really is your cause. so bear that in mind when making this sort of content, drain the mud ruts and cut out the centre into the ruts. It if keeps going like it is, then it'll end up needing taller tyres every year and then they'll close the lanes to everyone for good. none of us want that. Please take it on as the lane is your responsibility to make sure it's left as good or better than you found it.
