Also, it being such an “it” fragrance in Hollywood lately must have contributed to its 56% sales jump. 🥳
Jo Malone is one of the only brands Asian shoppers buy. If you travel to Asia you’ll see giant Jo Malone counters everywhere. I bet a ton of Jo Malone is sold at Duty Free and in malls in tourist cities.
@@j-prins61 it’s light. Asians don’t like fragrance generally. They don’t sweat/stink as much as westerners so they’ve needed less of that sort of “cover.” Jo Malone is very light and they positioned themselves as the light, Asian friendly scent
Ash, have you tried any of the Giorgio Group fragrances? They have Giorgio Black, Royal Classic, Royal Bloom, etc. I've picked up a couple and they are really good quality considering the price. What really intrigues me about them however is that their logo is a 'by Kilian' "K" encircled by three hemispherical rings, that's the best I can put it into words anyway. I can't find a thing about Giorgio Group anywhere, there is another name on the boxes, Euro Royal Perfums but that leads nowhere also. It seems odd to me that a company would use a "K" as the central part of their logo while neither of their displayed names even has a K in them. Then to use the same exact font as by Kilian is even stranger. Anyways, if you know anything about these I'm extremely curious about them, the logo specifically.
I bet these videos have something to do with some of these sales going up…. I got exposed to things I’d never had considered buying or even trying before I started watching these. And with all the clones I don’t worry about samples much anymore if I like a clone I’m almost 100% going to want the original
I’m somewhat ambivalent about Tom Ford. These are lovely fragrances for the most part. But I just don’t consider them niche. Tom Ford is a designer. it’s a designer fragrance. I don’t care how you dress it up and he can dress it up because guess what? designer!

Can confirm. In basically all of shanghais shopping district ( a small city) there is essentially only jo malone as the niche brand.

Electric Cherry has nearly all bad reviews online so I'm glad it is 17. I like it a lot. I bought the ALT clone of it and it's great!
I don’t know if you can find it over there, but the Spanish brand LOEWE is fantastic for unisex fragrances.

I think Le Labo got lot of hype on the online fashion community so kind of makes sense it has jumped up a lot in popularity/sales.
