oh, i see... thanks for confirming the filiation... and thanks (to both Evan and you) for sharing those bass grooves, and for the inspiration... you make the seemingly impossible look possible (not to mention effortless)... and ultimately, beyond metaphors, poetics, and fashionable analyses, that's what music (and more generally, art) means... (and for the record, no, i usually don't add that many parentheses)... ;o)

What sets Evan and every other special musician out there apart from others is his ability to connect with and express his emotion in such a deep authentic way. This isn’t music trying to sound cool. This is someone’s heart and passion and love of music coming through in his own music.

Was wondering about the fatness of that drum sound and then I noticed the old school Rogers butcher block shells. Great engineered drum sound, almost Phil Collins like coming from those great classic shells and of course masterfully played.
So funky I’m glad I discovered them at the concert in the Mayan theatre with animals as Leaders! Best experience in my entire life it’s was my first too so worth it I give u good luck

Just saw these guys live mere hours ago before friggity fraggin Contortionist and AAL and they kicked ass! I had absolutely no idea who these two were going in and really enjoyed their set. Dana is a frickin' incredible drummer, dude went absolutely nuts, and Evan is a fantastic player as well. Excited to see where this project goes in the future.
An absolute joy to hear Evan play so fluently and harmonically. It is so inspiring to watch his performance. And that killer tone!!!

This is just a masterclass about how to sync with both drums rhythms and melody harmony. Insane thr way he makes drums shine and also variate melody in small parts to make it fresh. Got so much to practice omg
