These video's are great! They would assist new grads or those that are transitioning from one continuum of care to outpatient such as those that are moving from ECF's under the new billing rules. PTA '97
Hey I’m currently an exercise science undergrad rn 2nd year and looking to go into PT school. I want to work and make money but at pt clinic but not as a volunteer what would be the job title I would call an ask for not I’m not a pta or have a pta degree
@@Mikereinold hey mike, I just got an A.S degree and I will be going back to school to major in exercise science, however can you be an aid while being in school? I would love if you can explain the process a little better on that. I’m the first to graduate and continue my schooling in my family so I would just love some information so I can get closer to achieving my dream.
Ignore this comment as this is a personal msg for someone For kuya Rodjun Matagal na kong di nag pi-PT, mga 5 to 8 years na yata. In summary, Physical therapists' job is to rehabilitate and help patients function again after suffering from a disease or while still suffering a disease. If you get injured, your doctor may also refer you to PT for recovery, hindi po puro masahe un hehe. Pero minsan nagmamasahe din kami for the sake of patient's relaxation lalo na kung mga back pain lang ung kaso or kaya, kung may edema. Great video and content, guys. For those of you who would like to see what a physical therapist does in the hospitals and how we can help people during critical illness or injuries, please take a look at my content. I am a critical care PT of 27 years and our goal is similar to an outpatient sports medicine PT (To help people get back to their baseline), but our customers are much different. Many PTs such as myself prefer the ICU setting because the clinical decision-making skills in ICU have a much higher consequences if incorrect but are more rewarding to bring someone from bedridden to walking again, in my opinion. Please see my case reports such as Hito's case (COVID with ECMO), Cowboy Bill (Traumatic brain injury in ICU), and Phyllis's recovery. (Respiratory failure on ventilator) These case reports will give you a more clear idea of what physical therapy is for those in the hospital intensive care units. Cheers...Darin Trees, DPT

What do you guys think about PTA’s? Would you ever hire one?
Love PTAs! Our current model is 1-on-1 with a PT so not sure it fits us right now, but very pro collaborating with a PTA
I have a PTA at each of my clinics. They do a great job and can really add to the value of your practice. Omaha Integrated Rehab

There are many clinics that will hire "techs" or "aides." You'll be able to get in the setting. I'd start there!
MikeReinold.com Will do thank you!!

We are movement specialists helping people develop a higher level of physical and/or neurological function
Great video
Thanks!
Most of what they are mentioning and marketing themselves is what a Personal Trainer can do except diagnosing some one for pain and injury.
I AGREE!
Great video🔥
