Comparisons matter because these planes are also designed to be exported and bring in $billions of dollars to each economy. Weapons are high-profit products. Btw, I'm surprised TFX chose the older F414 engines instead of the newer F110 engines that KF21 did. Maybe they needed the smaller size and less weight of F414 that best fit the mission purpose of their fighters. In the end, what matters more are the weapons they carry. Better weapons, better kill/survival ratio.
Give Turks few years making the best of the best. Turkish Engineers working very well. Kaan become an excellent experience.

Korea urgently needed its own fighter jets to replace its outdated fighter jets. And while accumulating technology, the KF-21 was developed to develop into a new generation fighter. KF-21 applies a three-stage development process. In the third stage, the KF-21 is changed to internal armament. Currently, Korea operates 40 F35s and is in the process of introducing an additional 20 units. So, externally armed fighters are needed rather than stealth fighters.
Korea is a brother nation for us. I hope we can do better together in the future. Great things are done collaboratively.

Normally thousands of test flights is a must for a new jet fighter to find its faults and fix them, and to see whether it meets all the required performances. This stage is the most important and difficult process in the development of a new jet fighter. That's why Kaan has a long way to go. Go study more about how a new jet fighter is developed.

These 2 planes are being developed for different purposes - KF21 as a 4.5 gen medium-low multi-role aircraft that carries ground attacking munitions under its wings while KAAN is intended for a 5-gen high air superiority figher that accommodates all the missles in its weapon bay. Just compare that KAAN is 30% larger in scale while its max payload is just 5% larger than KF-21 (3:45). This is just like comparing an medium MPV and a full sporty car.

No one in Korea is far from a 5th generation fighter jet. There is too much information that is not accurate. k-21 is a three-phase development program. Comparison now is too early. Both of the projects are not done yet and in progress. Correct comparison should be done when both projects are done and in active services. We need to keep in mind that many military projects have not finished properly in the middle of development.

Although the KF-21 is stealthy, it lacks internal bays like fifth-gen fighters and is instead equipped with 10 external hardpoints for armaments. It is not 5th generation by design.
KF-21 will have an internal weapons bay in Block 3.

적어도 2032년 전에는 BLOCK 1 기체도 내놓기 어려움.
엔진 자체가 픽스 되지 않는 한 아무리 빨라도 2030년 전에는 기체 자체도 완성하지 못함.
게다가 어떤 무장을 갖출 것인가에 대한 계획도 확정되지 않았다면 2035년으로 늘어짐.
아래 형제 드립 운운하는 꼴이 ... 그렇게 칭찬만 하면 아직 계획도 되지 않은 기체가 완성될까?
kf-21이 계획이 확정된 이후에도, 심지어 지금도 국내 기자들에게 얼마나 두들겨 맞았는 지 안다면 굳이 형제 드립까지 날릴 것까지야

눈썰미가 좋은 사람은 발견 했겠지만, 랜딩기어 개폐 장치가 없다. 쉽게 말해서 뚜껑이 없어. 랜딩기어를 그냥 꽂아 두었다는 거지.
그건 아직 기체조차 완성하지 못했다는 거야.
기체 보다 더 중요한 엔진이나 주요 전자장비는 더더욱 해결 방법이 없다.
날으는 전시 모형일 뿐이라는 거지.
모든 것이 완성되고 마지막 과정인 비행 테스트를 위해 보여준 것이 아니라는 뜻이지.
국민은 속일순 있지만 엔지니어를 속이긴 힘들다.

Best wishes to our brother country Korea. Koreans and Korea are loved in Türkiye. A small note here. Kaan will be flying with domestically produced engines in 2028 which will give real 5th gen stealth capability and much more trust than current GE engines.

İki proje arasında yaklasık 4-5 yıl var. Güney kore bizden önce basladı. Ayrıca kore F-35 ve diğer yedek parça, teknolojı destegı vs. Gibi şeylere turkıyeden daha kolay erısım saglıyor. Herkesın bildiği gıbı abd ve Avrupa turkıyeye üstü kapalı gızlı ambargo uyguluyor ama bu kore de böyle degıl. O nedenle biz hem onlardan dedıgım gıbı birkaç yıl projeye gec basladık hemde gizli ambargo ya mağruz kalıyoruz. Mesela kore F-35 alabılırken biz abd den F-16 bile alamıyoruz. Bu sadece yazdıklarıma bir örnek
