Thanks for sharing, great memories of youth. That Toyota Celica has aged well, great looking car. Juha Kankunnen nailing Movember too
I remember watching this as a kid , loved it !
Brings back such good memories 👍😎
It's great seeing the Astra GTE 16 valve being thrown around and doing well. I owned a couple of GTEs back in my boyracer days in the 90s. I had a 1.8 GTE first and followed that with an F reg 16 valve (with the Coscast head) I loved both but that 16 valves extra 40bhp made an enormous difference haha! I miss it!
I always wondered was it a 'cup a soup' or a shot of coffee Kankunen was stirring?
Took a while to realise it really was Armin Schwartz with that mustache!
The"at the side of the road' film footage on these videos is a lot more interesting to watch than the way WRC now covers it with in car and heli/ drone shots.... NEP take notice get some cameras out onto the stages. I know you have the tec to do it ....WRC If you want to get my money for next years coverage I'm expecting something better...
10 pints of power steering fluid used on Ari Vatanen's Mitsubishi Galant. What did the fluid contain pipe burning fluid?
“Somerset’s Malcolm Wilson?” 😂
Must have been confusion with Mark Lovell.
Indeed!? I always thought he's from the Lake District / Cumbria. 👍
🙏
1:27 haha! in places like where?
Was wondering if anyone would spot that! A bit of an edit slip in the maelstrom of the outside broadcast unit, I'd say.
@@VHSRallies a lot will say Welsh places sound like jibberish but I can re assure all, that was genuine jibberish, I assume it was going to be 'Clocaenog'.
