- Where to move after hitting the ball in table tennis. One of the supporting videos for the How To Win At Table Tennis eBook, available from www.gregsttpage...
Wow great lesson. I actually stopped the video just to write this because you gave me such a great tip. I have not been facing the ball neutral. I am always facing the ball ready to receive backhand, even though my forehand is stronger. I've always identified the problem, but never knew how to correct it. Thanks
Read your opponent and position yourself..... that's the advise I needed right now. Thanks!!
EXCELLENT WORK THANKS GREAT CONTRIBIUTION FOR THE TABLE TENNIS FAMILY
Dude this is very technical. Good. You got any vids of you playing?
Super Video. Very Technical and detailed analysis.
The reasoning behind positions is pretty illustrative. However, at my level ~2050 USATT you need to know where the opponent likes to hit and bias your position towards that
Very useful. Thanks for the detailed video
great info thanks man I love your videos
awesome thanks
hello, then this is the appropiate place to be in a game? in the "middle" and must be close or far?
4:43 not necessarily, if you want to hit the ball right back to your opponent that's what you should do... but if you want to hit the ball to the opposite side of the table, you should square your shoulders the other way. Basically, your shoulders should be squared up to where you want the ball to go, and shouldn't depend on where it just came from.
Very useful, thanks.
thx
hello is this a strategy for a left player?
This was good but as I normally play against a leftie a bit limited for my use.
It would just be opposite really? I've had a lot of trouble beating a left handed chopper recently, but have learned to serve differently and also change a lot of angles. My positioning has changed to adapt so that I can attack more of his backhand and avoid returning / serving too much to his forehand.
nice
Try and sound more enthusiastic NOT dull
He's Australian. That's how they speak when they are really excited. Personally, I loved the video Greg!
a bit too long imho
painfully slow - the first 5 mins should be 20 seconds
Man, you gotta wake up and have more ENERGY....you are putting us to sleep. Somewhere you should actually hit a ball to show us what happens and leave out some of the talking
*zzzZZzzzZZzzzZZZzzzZ* huh? u wot m8? 15min is over.....why nobody woke me up
+HenryMania Go play nintendo
I fell asleep
Then I guess you won't learn where to move after hitting the ball... Depends on how far you got before falling asleep I suppose. ;)
Be honest Suzanne Smyth (if that IS your real name)....you were asleep to begin with.... :D
