Subhanallah. madam shyama looks great as ever. Getting old is natural but her warmth and friendliness is exceptional. Pray to Allah she is blessed with many more years ahead. I will never stop admiring and love this great lady.
I was a student of Berlin University,met through Sadiq Beg in 1960 and became her dance partner for the internationals filmfestival had a wounderfull time She was very pretty and I did few shopping.Her song till I remember Chun Chun Bajay Payal ,I live in Germany and now I am 85 but remember her charming behavior and till her fan,if I get her address, I shall send back few photos. Best Regards

Recently I came across a song from a 1952 movie Shrimatiji which hilariously suits the current covid pandemic situation. Shayamaji looked so beautiful in that song.

Madhubala is at a totally different levels of Indian cinema
She outclassed almost every heroin in her era as well as even now. Madhubala was at a international level, meaning, she even could have been working in Hollywood films , Madhubala’s charm and beauty was out of this world
There were 4 grades of actors/actresses in Indian cinema
Madhubala, Nargis, vyajantimala, Meena Kumaree and few others were an A class level
And there was class B actors/ actresses
Shayam was a C class actress
We can Tabasum ji
Can Shayam be at the same level as Madhubala ?
She is definitely pretty, no doubt. But Madhubala is a class apart.

Shyamaji is so simple, honest, spontaneous despite being a star in an era which had such imposing names like Nargis, Nimmi, Madhubala, Meena Kumari, Vyjayanthimala, Waheeda, Mala Sinha. Her performance in AAr Paar, Barasaat Ki raat is superlative.

जब दूरदर्शन पर 1970-71 मे बरसात की रात फिल्म देखी थी तभी मुझे मिल गया बहाना तेरी दीद का गीत सुना था और हर साल ईद पर विविध भारती से भी सुनता रहा हूँ। यही गीत FM Rainbow Delhi की RJ Rubina Aziz Ji ने अपने show मे और FM Gold Delhi की RJ Naeem Akhtari और RJ Reshma ने अपने अपने shows मे मेरी पसंद पर कई बार सुनवाया है, साहिर लुधियानवी का लिखा ये गीत कालजयी बना हुआ है और आपने जो जानकारी update की है ,बहुत अच्छी लगी है इसके लिए आपका बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद।
