I try to inform those that I see that it’s not the case and report those imposters, but the volume is so overwhelming. Be vigilant everyone.

I am in a group for GH fans. Everyone was asking about receiving a friend request from Steve Burton. I think everyone got one. I got one about an hour after seeing the post. Most knew it was a scammer, but some refuse to believe. Thank you for doing this. ❤
On Tiktok I always get "Steve Burton started following you." LOL. I'm like "awww how sweet. He can follow me along with the other 5 Steve Burtons and the 6 Eric Bradens."

Scammers and imposters are always annoying all over the media. I can understand why Cloud Strife is smart enough to stay off of Twitter/X, or deleted his Twitter/X account(bummed, but it's understandable).

I work for a financial institution. You would be amazed how many people fall for scams. Even after our warnings. Unfortunately with scams more often than not you cannot get your money back. Very sad.
I made a comment on what was presented as Teddy Swims UA-cam & someone posted as him with this long 'Highlighted' comment attempting to get me to send 🤑 to a foundation in Nigeria to ward off negative energy 🤪🤨 Sad, I've had people pretending to be police & threatening my eldest daughter SMH Glad you tried to help that elderly man & you posted this! People need to check in on their elders & keep them informed on these scams and tell them what to do or what not to do.

❤Thank you. This scamming is getting crazy for sure! I've seen people that pretend to be the actor or singer in responding to our comments on UA-cam too. They get personal or ask questions - very fishy. You report them after you see their channel only has 12 followers on UA-cam. UA-cam gets rid of their channel - Then they turn around and do a new channel and start over doing it again. Frustrating and Ridiculous!
Fake account scammers are so bad on all social media platforms and AI is making it worse! GH should put a PSA out on the show. That would get the warning out to all of the fans.
It is just so sad in every way...people being so lonely and/or destitute that they will do anything to be noticed.....Dr Phil is where I learned about cat fishing....some of those stories will break your heart...they still don't believe the imposter is over even when he brings them on the show and/or tracks them down...always tells them the truth...but most of them lost their whole retirement money and have to live off their children or some other means.....thanks so much for trying to help guys....it means you care....❤

I keep telling them it’s a scammer and not to reply. Some listen, some don’t. It happens multiple times a day. I finally gave up and quit the groups when the admins ignored the problem. Sorry to see people being used like this.

I’ve been warning people on facebook that they’re talking to scammers and I’ve been threatened by the scammers for calling them out. I report them all the time and I even got suspended for over a week for calling out a scammer while they were allowed to continue scamming people! Unbelievable how this keeps being allowed on facebook! 🤨

I can not tell you how timely this podcast was. I had been responding to the various posts on Facebook about Steve coming back to GH, and a few days later, I received a DM from someone claiming to be Steve....he kept calling me Sweetheart....he told me in the DM that I was to only correspond with him through an app called Signal. It was not long after the conversation started he said something to me about doing to his homeless children charity. I, instantly backed out of using the Signal app and deleted the app.
I only watch here. I have no FB no IG no X..no social media at all. It all got so ridiculous, and i have enough stress and issues and just life to deal with , i dont need to know anyone else's personal business lol. Thanks for this video! If it helps just one innocent person and keeps them from getting scammed or worse, then its all greatness. 😊

My aunt sold her house, used that money, as well as the 20,000 she had in the bank (basically all her money) & sent it to a person she thought was a famous country singer. She now lives in a camper in her daughter’s yard. Everyone tried to convince her it was a scam, but that person had a complete hold on my aunt. It’s absolutely heartbreaking.
I’m glad you’re doing the show about this I do know somebody who I tried convinced that it is not a celebrity but she doesn’t wanna believe me I feel bad I just have to pray that one of these days. She gets smart and understand that there is bad people out there, so I’m glad you’re doing the shelf for some people who might think about that it is a celebrity when it is because like you said no celebrity would ask for money or anything like that

My now 95yomother and I ALMOST GOT scammed by a “jerk” (and that is being “nice” by some jerk who hacked into our computer claiming to be our Credit Union! I also think that AI is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!!
Recently I had a Steve Burton who Dm me from Facebook after I commented on a post and seconds after he started he was asking for money. Let me tell you I reamed him out good. He actually swore at me and told me to get off his page. Of course I blocked and deleted his page. This is getting very serious and is emotionally hurting a lot of people. Be careful everyone. Steve and Bradford, I report these ALL the time. Facebook comes back and says they aren't violating standards. Most times, they only allow me to report the photo, which is silly. Facebook is making it harder to report these so called fan pages.

I was curious so I just looked on Facebook for Mr. Steve it showed like 40 pages for you. This is a great podcast especially for fans to realize how diabolical scammers can be. Do y'all worry about AI maybe being used to mimic your voices? I have seen some news stories where scammers have done that to people to get money. It's all just craziness.

It's really sad, it's a shame that people are taking advantage of people for their own personal financial gain. This has gotten out of control. When will it ever stop?
THANK YOU! For doing this! But I’m frightened that people will continue to fall for this! FTR, I haven’t been scammed by either of your fb accounts, people claiming to be you. My now 95yomother and I ALMOST GOT scammed by a “jerk” (and that is being “nice” by some jerk who hacked into our computer claiming to be our Credit Union!
I also think that AI is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!!
Recently I had a Steve Burton who Dm me from Facebook after I commented on a post and seconds after he started he was asking for money. Let me tell you I reamed him out good. He actually swore at me and told me to get off his page. Of course I blocked and deleted his page. This is getting very serious and is emotionally hurting a lot of people. Be careful everyone. Steve and Bradford, I report these ALL the time. Facebook comes back and says they aren't violating standards. Most times, they only allow me to report the photo, which is silly. Facebook is making it harder to report these so called fan pages.

I feel these platforms should shut all these scam accounts down!! It really makes me mad I had to start a new instagram because someone hacked mine and instagram would not do anything to help me! These platforms are so bad about helping people

My cousin was only steps from dementia. You couldn't convince her that she wasn't conversing with Tom Jones.
I was curious so I just looked on Facebook for Mr. Steve it showed like 40 pages for you. This is a great podcast especially for fans to realize how diabolical scammers can be. Do y'all worry about AI maybe being used to mimic your voices? I have seen some news stories where scammers have done that to people to get money. It's all just craziness.
