Thanks so much for your tutorial, Jen. It's a beautiful wreath - simple and very tidy!!! I love your colours and how you made the centre with the ribbons. I certainly appreciate all you tips!
So pretty and so easy. I love the idea of using ribbons for the center of the wreath. Doubles as a center and adds the touch of ribbon to it as well. I love ribbons on wreaths. Great job! Thanks for the wonderful ideas for centers.
I just LOVE your wreaths! I've been waiting and waiting for you to come back with another tutorial! You are so calm and down to earth when you work and your wreaths are works of art. Thank you for taking the time to share your gift with the rest of us! Keep them coming!
Thank You for the tutorial. I’m a beginner and I really enjoy how you explain and show everything you do at a beginner level. Your work is beautiful. Thank You.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! My 94 year old mom will love it when I make it for her! Her favorite colors are PINK AND GREEN! Can’t wait to start this. Thanks so much!
I have everything done except the middle and so far not too bad. I have a tad bit of fraying , but that is a big part of deco mesh. I think I will make this one out of poly burlap next time. Good Luck
As you were making this wreath, I thought of the women in the wild west era or perhaps Amish women sitting around the fireplace making similar wreaths. It's nice to watch someone craft something so beautiful from just a few items and not use hot glue or any electricity. It was an easy to watch tutorial, thank you for sharing your talents. : D
Very nice and I feel you really take the time to explain and show what you are doing. Thank you so much. I really like the bow center with these colors it just pops. Amazing
So beautiful.... working a flower and have been stuck on what to do for the center. I am going to try your ribbon center method. Thanks so much for sharing, your work is so good.... Love it.
I just had a flashback to middle school. You mentioned cutting between the rows and fraying. In home economics we had to straighten our fabric by pulling a row of thread from the fabric and cut the open space between the rows of thread. Guess I’m dating myself.
Lol well I know it's commonly used when working with regular burlap as well as fabric as you said, so I think I'd say that great methods never get old! 😉😊
Thank you! No, it wouldn't be very full and the deco mesh would probably be floppy. Unfortunately there would need to be many more petals for a deco mesh one.
Yes, I've seen people say they use cake boards, or even round placemats from the dollar stores. Lots of inexpensive options to finish off the back nicely 😊
I just love this beautiful flower you do such a great job with teaching, thank you. I always have a hard time pricing and am getting ready for my fall craft shows. what should i charge for this beautyful flower?
My 10 inch wire frame only have four bracket i love this flower but seem like I am using a lot of mesh so how many would I put on the bottom row I can only get nine but seem like the other roads I'm putting eight or nine what is I'm doing wrong
Another beautiful creation and great tutorial :) do you also order your mesh from amazon? I’m in Canada and only have Michaels and dollar stores so my options aren’t the best at times. 🌸
Where is the best place to get poly burlap (paper) mesh? The camera keeps making the mesh blurry; it is just a little rough on my eyes.....just making a suggestion. Still like the flower, beautiful.
Craftoutlet.com is where I get everything but they're out of stock on a lot of things right now. I had to use a different editing program this time and it messed with the quality of the video so I do apologize for that. Guess I won't be using that one again!
Thank you! Well, the petal placement is a lot more spread out than a deco mesh type flower usually is....so I think it could possibly work with fabric mesh or poly jute if you doubled the petals to make them thicker. 🤔
I get these packs on Amazon 😊 flic-flac 42pcs 12 x 12 inches (30cm30cm) Felt Fabric Sheet Assorted Color Felt Pack DIY Craft Squares Nonwoven www.amazon.com/dp/B01LAJOBUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_eKeXCbX88W4WP

You can, but I've never worked with those. Some people say it's fine, others say those fray like crazy because of the larger weave. Trendytree.com and thewreathshop.com also carry poly burlap but I think unfortunately they are out of stock on a lot of things right now too.
Thank you for your prompt response. I, of course, want it yesterday and I live in an area where we have only JoAnn and Michaels. So I guess I wait. I will keep watching for more of your great ideas.
I'm not aware of any place that has it at the moment. A lot of people use the poly burlap for Spring and Summer flowers so it goes out of stock pretty fast. 😞

If you aren't already you might check the Facebook group "Wreath Creators and More" It is a very supportive group and they really help when you need it. Good Luck and keep going.
thank you for your reply. I believe the mesh I polypro mesh ribbon I used was the wrong material. so I am going to buy poly burlap mesh. I feel this will work best for my sunflower wreath. thanks

Beautiful. I'm glad you showed the fray and how you have the same problems we have with it. Your wreaths are very professionally done.

It was felt 😊
Where did you buy your ribbon its so beautiful
Craftoutlet.com was where I got the ribbon and most likely the mesh too. 😊
Love it!

I understand if you use a wood burner to cut them you get less fraying.
OMG I want to do this in yellow
Yessss I'd like to try yellow and white, and yellow and black myself 😉😁

Thank you, but I have no interest in using one. I'm not comfortable with the thought of melting/burning plastic fumes inside my home.
