Reverend Moore did a choir workshop at my Father’s Church and taught me how to sing God will take care of you in the 80s and that has been a true story in my life! Thank God for him! His testimonies were so inspirational ❤ rest well Reverend James Moore!
YESSSSSSSSSS I ☮️MISS REV. JAMES MOORE ONE OF THE GREATEST MALE SINGERS I ☮️ EVER HEARD TRULYYY MISSED YESSSSSSSSSS 🙌🏽💯🙌🏽💯🙌🏽💯🙌🏽💯 REST IN PEACE FOREVERMORE TOO !!
What some don’t know is that James Moore founded the Colorado Mass Choir and placed Joe Pace over the choir. He was also responsible for doing choir workshops and traveling to various churches to help train their music departments and musicians. Truly a legend!!!
He did founded the Colorado mass choir … but he wasn’t responsible for doing choir workshops and training choirs around the world in churches ….that’s actually what Rev James Cleveland And Dr Mattie Moss Clark did they were responsible .. he was trained under their leadership in his early teen days in Detroit ,MI
@@carlosgibson2911actually he did so many workshops and this I know because he frequently came to my home state of North Carolina doing them and also Washington DC as many other places. Many great musicians such as professor Rickey Peyton, Jonathan Brown, and many others were his accompaniment. I was a kid and fortunate to take part.
@@carlosgibson2911I agree he wasn’t the first. I remember at many of our National Meetings when as soon as he walked in they just gave him the mic and it was a wrap from there!!!
This man was truly a gospel legend ! He doesn’t get the respect he deserves he actually inspired a few heavy weights in the gospel industry like John P Kee ,Keith Staten , Bryan Wilson, Kim Burrell , and many more. A documentary and tribute to him by the stellers awards needs to be done . He became the best being trained from the best by Rev James Cleveland , Dr Mattie Moss , and Frank Williams . Nobody can sing like Rev James Moore !
Keith Staten and Bryan Andrew Wilson don't even get the respect that they deserve, so what are you talking about?? The others that you mentioned are often booked, talked about, and/or celebrated.
It's joy to see all da young man worshiping Jesus in song... I know someone might say it don't take all that but I'm here to tell you it takes whatever it takes... Have Mercy 🥺 🙏🏿
I want say this to you all my brother and sisters I listen to him every night 2024 I'm sitting hear listening right now before I lost my mother two years we sit at night and listen to him true gospel singer Rest in Peace my brother

Rev James Moore will always be an anointed singer & worshipper. My family & I had the pleasure of being at the Live Recording he did in Jackson, Ms. That recording had the late Shun Pace also. That's a night I'll never forget, we had a mighty good time! Rest Well Rev. James Moore
Great singer. I would always seeing reverend Moore pastor Timothy Wright and Mr clean Richard white singing and hanging around the convocation. They all came up through Dr Mattie moss clark
This is elder Charles Ransom he was my friend he will come to Jean Barbara Church and he came to my birthday celebration one time use anointed and sing God praises and preach under the anointing of the holy Ghost I miss him today
The choir backing him on this video is Kevin Davidson and The Voices of Binghampton of Memphis, TN (now known as The Voices). They was his backing choir on the “I Will Trust In The Lord” live recording in 1992 released on Malaco Records in 1993
That album was recorded early 1993, not 1992 (Sometime after March 1993). The only album James recorded in 1992 was his "Live in Detroit" album. The album "I Will Trust in the LORD" was recorded & released in the blessed memory of the late Frank Williams (even as James commemorated the very popular hymnal in his memory, saying, "This is for Frank Williams: 'I Will Trust in the LORD'.") Just wanted to clear that information, right quick. Both have gone on to be with the LORD, & we praise the Great Jehovah for their contributions while they lived on this earth. God bless the memories of the late Reverend James Moore & Frank Williams.
My friend. For real Friend. He was a giant to me and knew it and still chose to be my Friend. I thank God for him STILL today. He put courage in my heart on purpose and he was gone before I even realized that he had been doing it the whole time.
But I gotta give it to bro at 13:06 for his voice blending with the sound of the choir! But it’s too funny how he’s so loud and distinct and he proudly WITHOUT shame take a breath and continue😂😂
Wow he came to wichita kansas and he wasn't in this shape at New Jerusalem Baptist Church where JAMES CLEVELAND GWC SUNFLOWER CHAPTER Mary Roger's president. This where choirs sang songs with meaning. This mess they called gospel singing is nothing
