I was born in Madrid but left the country when I was 6 years old. It is nice to see Madrid I forgot a lot i wass maybe just too young but I still remember a lot places
Your videos capture the essence of each destination beautifully and your storytelling skills make me feel like I'm right there with you on your adventures. Keep up the amazing work!
Please, number 1 should be the Prado Museum, without a doubt, and number 2 the Thyssen Bornemiza Museum, number 3 the Reina Sofía Museum, and if not, include all three in the so-called Paseo del Arte, along with CaixaForum.
Thanks a lot for this comment, i was going through videos about Madrid as I'm currently here to check what is worth visiting. And now after reading your comment and a visit to Prado, I know it'd have been a huge mistake to skip it. I spent there 3,5 hr, but if you really want to admire the art and read descriptions, you can spend there twice as much time
Yes. You can also use google maps and it tells you the walking distance and you can add stops and manipulate them to be efficient. All stops together are within one hour walking. Meaning if you start at one and just walk by all of them you can walk them within an hour
which UA-camr would you recommend for someone looking for travel ideas not tourist related, like free music festivals, ultimate canal and cave tours ... stuff like that.
Luxury shopping streets: Serrano, Claudio Coello, Ortega y Gasset, Lagasca, Goya.... (neighborhood of Salamanca); Streets with international brands and modern designers: Fuencarral; Almirante, Fernando VI, Pelayo, Augusto Figueroa (neighborhood of Chueca); streets of popular brands: Gran Vía, Preciados. There are many malls: Las Rozas Village, Plaza Norte 2, Gran Plaza 2, El Corte Inglés....
My girlfriend wants to go but all it seems is good drinks a few buildings some shopping and museums I struggle to get excited what else Madrid has to offer???
Everything you can imagine and many things you can't. But if you're not interested in Madrid, go anywhere else. It's not mandatory to visit Madrid, and I'm sure you can do without it, just as the _madrilenos_ will manage perfectly fine without you.
Madrid was awesome to visit! I went to a couple of places listed on here and honestly it was so much fun. I made a video on my channel that showed san miguel market haha!

I guess you are talking about Manzanares El Real Castle. It belonged to the Duke of Infantado (the main title of the House of Mendoza) but nobody calls It that way. Yes, It's a really beautiful castle you can visit some fifty km north of downtown Madrid.
July is the hottest month in Madrid, not ideal for walking on the streets, however all public buildings, shops, restaurants, cafes and transport have AC
The highest recorded temperature in Madrid is 41.7°C. The hottest days of the year are between July 15th and August 15th. It's a dry heat, which is always more bearable than humidity, but some days (some years more than others) it can be intense, although it cools down at night. I like spending summers in Madrid and I go out for a run every morning around nine, and the temperature never goes above 24°C. However, from noon until eight in the evening, temperatures often reach between 35 and 40°C during those four weeks.

We really want to visit it.. I googled it, is it "Real Armería de Madrid" in the palace?
The best thing you could do would be at the Bernabeu watching Madrid host Atletico or Barca. A Champions League match might be even better.
