- Today we are going to look at the origin, secrets, timeline, story, lore, mysteries and history the toads. But it turns that the toads from the super mario and mario&luigi series have special properties found out by the shroobs, we see this in mario & luigi partners in time and i also think it will come back in mario & luigi bowser's inside story. And believe me this will have a bit of a dark ending involving bowser...

Actually on page 8 of the manual for super mario bros it confirms that the bricks are actually power up blocks that means the toads lived sort of
I think the Swiggler converts the Vim into electrical energy in a more efficient way than turbines through chemical reactions in it's body, which would explain why the Shroobs use Swiggler, a living organism, since living organisms are very efficient at converting chemical energy with only a low activation energy. This also explains why the Swiggler's tail has plugs instead of taps

I was thinking this would be along the lines of toads being able to make stars or something like that, not that their blood can be harvested as an energy sorce.

How do the real life blood/sweat batteries get their blood and sweat. Do people just cut their fingers over the batteries.
I'm no scientist but my best guess is they would use equipment similar to what is used for blood transfusion, like when you give a blood sample or donate blood to help someone.

If you look at more recent games like captain toad treasure tracker or super Mario 3D world when toad doesn't have a mushroom on him his head is near identical to a super mushroom so toads may be mutated super mushrooms plus maybe the vem in their blood is the essence of the super mushroom
