I’m not fussed about the delivery dates. I just appreciate the updates. I don’t know many other companies who have this much engagement with the customers

Love what you guys are doing, thanks for always being so transparent and informative
I couldn’t decide between raw and the black. I went black zinc but would probably buy a messed up raw finish case if you guys sold seconds. Excited to get my board
Is the black and white zin alloy case going to have a thicker coating? asking because I might prefer the more durable version over the cool looking case :D
It's a shame you're not going with the tumbled finish raw case, but the reasons are understandable. Looks like I'll be sticking with my original black order. Looking forward to getting it in hand.
I'm not really knowledgeable with keyboards. What's the difference or pros and cons between PCR and Zinc Alloy? Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks.
Why make an awkward shaped 80 size keyboard when everyone asked for either a 75 or a tkl? Are you hoping to limit the keys that can be customized to only keys that you sell?
What about the normal zinc cases? It’s been way too long since the first delay. Now it’s even estimated October. Raw case are great but what about our normal cases 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I was anticipating a slip from July to Sep, so no surprises there. The nice thing about Wooting is they take pride in their product, so we’re not Batch 1, 2, 3 beta testers for them to drastically change Batch 4 like Finalmouse would do us.
I’m very excited for the keyboard, however in the Wooting hub it estimates the delivery date for my 80he as late October, yet it seems from this updated timeline mass production will arrive at the warehouse much sooner. Is there a chance it will come sooner than late October?
This is possible if you ordered the 80HE at a later point and have gotten into Batch 2 together with a slower delivery courier. The dates given in the video are for our first batch. All the dates are still an estimate, anything can still happen.
i like the 60% layout, but the thing is im afraid that the 80he is better and if i got the 60he i will be missing out, so are there any real differences besides the obvious 60%- 80% layouts?
Besides the layout and polling rates, the 80HE is also build with a gasket mount instead of a tray mount. So this definitely improves the overall acoustics of the board. But then again, the 60HE does have a lot more options when it comes down to customization of all kinds of third party cases if you are into that.
@@Wootingokay so then why wouldn’t you make a 75 or tkl? That would have given the keyboard just as many options as the 60. Why choose to limit your customers customization choices?
Unfortunately I am a full sized keyboard type of guy and won’t get to experience the 80he but I am glad to support by buying the two HE, a company that gives a fuck about the customers
For people with decent keyboards all ready but want to consider a wooting for gaming...any plans for a gamepad style board?. Just the left part of a keyboard that is used for gamers
would be cool if you guys offered other aspects of the keyboard (i.e. key caps, wrist rest, cables, etc...) that match the color/theme of the raw case...
Can’t wait for mine to arrive next month. It’s been a new experience for buying a keyboard but if they as good as people say it’s going to be awesome 🙂
Ordered in June, has been delayed by a month twice now. I'm still in for when ever it eventually rocks up. Just letting people know is all. Rappy Snappy upon release would be decent.
Not sure if it's the lighting at Computex or the new coating, but it looks a lot duller and more matte. Really loved the way the case looked at computex.
Lighting is also a bit different in the video. But it did become a bit more matte, indeed. I've asked Calder, but he said it is a quite interesting smooth look.
We cannot rule out anything, but we do strive for a bug and hassle free experience. We do a lot of testing and updating right now with our 80HE to make sure it is as perfect as it gets. If we experience any issues that will ruin the experience for our consumers, we immediately delay the launch. This is why we also do the Production Validation Tests, as this will give us a clear image to see if on scale things are produced the way they should be.
Really difficult to make it happen with the extruding lip on the side. It just doesn't cover the case perfectly the entire way. So for this case, it won't happen. But we will look into it for cases that might be more suitable shape-wise.
Italian isn't a layout - it is a language. Italian uses ISO, which we've always offered. Italian keycaps however is not something we currently offer, or have announced any plans to do so. :)
In theory, yes. With all settings turned up to max? That depends on the quality and length of the cable. Our usual warning about signal issues still stands.
@@amshermansen Hi, like with Razer mice they have a polling rate checker for mice, particularly those that supports >1Khz. I think it would be cool if Wooting creates a polling rate checker for keyboards too so we can determine what are good cables or not.
It's not really about polling rate as much as just overall signal stability. Having your LEDs turned up high, or enabling Tachyon mode can trigger instability and random typing on our existing keyboards. The 80HE will be no different in this regard - Cheap cables (especially long, coiled ones) are more prone to low quality.
Taking your time is something the industry as a whole not limited to Keyboards should go back to and Just Focus on making great Quality products. you should definitely make a small batch of some fancy limited edition rare version which is anodized in a rainbow color or that has some sort of cool corrosion effect or something, and raise the price of it by 5x for profit, so that fancy collectors or fans could buy them
I cannot wait for my wooting adhd

Hoping for Rejected RAW Limited Edition in the future, I love that finish so much💕
Estimated deilvery date early october - feels bad man :(
I love the finish, the imperfections remind me of wood-grain, it's cool that each one of them will be slightly different.
I love How-It's-Made style videos. Can't wait for the factory tours, that is cool asf

US fulfillment date... Yikes
Lol Calder in cs_office is a nice pun

The module has this as an option, as the raw doesn't come pre-assembled.

You should partner with some factory in Taiwan instead of the mainland.
you should avoid getting political when it comes to your gaming peripherals

No rush here, I bought from you guys because of the company culture and transparency and frequent updates, keep it up! :)
As long as you guys exceed expectations like usual then take your time! Good thing take time
