Just "TOP NOTCH" . Suzi is IRREPLACEABLE . Thank you Ma'am for choosing the PROFESSIONS that you did . Much Respect and Blessings to you and your family . 💞🤠🖖
Met Suzi in 76 at the age of 10 quite by accident. We were on a bike ride and ran out of water so decided to knock on the door of a big house in Stapleford Abbots in Essex, Suzi answered the door! She invited us in for some lemon squash and we all filled our water bottles before we left.
She had a huge pad in Great Waltham, just up the road from us (Broomfield, Chelmsford), for a number of years. She often used to go to the bakers on The Parade, Broomfield Road; my wife saw her there many times in the queue! I think she moved on from there about five or six years back.
I was 22 in 1973, I thought it was 72, anyway I was cleaning my car with the radio on & right for the opening thumping riff, then ripping voice, I stopped cleaning & turned up the radio which was already loud.. man what a feeling, I’m glad she’s still alive & Rockin.. 🤟 I’m 71 this year.
Yeah, she’s got it alright. I hope it’s not catching though. This is embarrassingly bad. Time to learn crocheting or knitting Suzie. Retire gracefully while you still have a good fan base. At least you’ll go out with a bang and not a whimper. Nothing personal honey.
Hey, I was 12 in 1973 as well. Suzi was huge when I was a kid. Remember her guest appearances in "Happy Days" as Leather Tuscadero? Maybe it's time to ditch the leather pants though??
First record this one ever bought tipped thee number spot for suzi like to think ones purchase helped bought in Woolworths Edinburgh scotland HappyDaze
I'm 56 next week and Suzi takes me to a place in time that I want to be my eternal place when I go and the music, the life, the clothes, the feeling ultimately everything will be 1972.
I have always admired Sue. Recently I saw a documentary about her. She struggled to get to the position of fame that she had . Although for a long period of time in her home land USA she got little recognition. She did well in Europe . She influenced Joan Jett and many other women rockers . A true rock Empress.
I live in the US and no one knows who she is. She had a hugely popular small role on a television sitcom in the 70’s called “Happy Days”, and she had a huge hit song in 1979 with “Stumblin’ In”, otherwise people give you a blank look if you mention Suzi Quattro.
Suzi is IRREPLACEABLE . My sister had a Album of .. The Pleasure seekers . It was great. She was 5 years older than me. This would be around 67 - 68 ? When I noticed it... as a kid. It Rocked . So... I've loved her ever since I became a teen . I started getting every album I could, plus... ordered them through Co-op record store from England . She Still is just "TOP NOTCH" . watch her show ... "Suzi Quatro the Bass line" just excellent, plus... "Sunday"... she plays the piano on that show . Much Respect to this BEAUTIFUL(inside and out) WOMAN . 💞🤠🖖
oh cool .I was 12 ..got devil gate drive on 45 record ..was in to music ..I became a devil and musician ,,done stuff from UK .thank you Suzi ..you still kick ass ..no age ,just rocking ..go girl
I remember seeing her at the Top Rank Suite in Cardiff as one of the support acts to Slade. I think it was in December 1972 before this song was in the charts. The other support band was the great Thin Lizzie and likewise just before their breakthrough single, Whiskey in the Jar. A bloody great night.
One of the stories I have in my back pocket is when Suzi Quatro was getting her autobiography ready to be sent to her publisher there was an issue with her email and she rang in to where I was working at the time and I helped her get the email issue sorted and the pages to her publisher before the deadline 😇😇😇
She was born on June 3, 1950. This would’ve been an impressive performance even if she was in her 20’s. She’s obviously taken care of herself. Considering that a bass guitar like hers is not a very large instrument, she must be pretty petite.
Although she is barely over 5 ft tall, she's always been the greatest rocking girl with over 5 decades of rocking. She has more energy than Joan Jett, Pat Benatar and Chrissie Hynde altogether!
I highly doubt that she was the “inspiration” for that song… Dale Hawkins wrote that in 1957, in Louisiana, and had a hit in ‘58 with it. Suzi is from Michigan, and she would have been about seven years old… ✌️🎶
She's played in Australia alone about 30 times. She's just over 70 years young now. Respect.
Can we just get rid of this stupid 'X years young' phrase once and forever? She's 70 years old. Deal with it.
@@xtenkfarpl665 Don't worry, you'll get over it.
@@xtenkfarpl665: That's the whole point of the expression. Playing rock music can keep one young from his mind to his/her body.
I only remember her as that cute young girl from Happy Days named leather!!....she's 70??? Wow!!
Yeah I live in Uk, I was in WA in 88/89 and saw her in Perth.
They don't make them like this any more! She's a living legend
She is a legend and she still looks the same she is amazing and thank you for answering me back I appreciate it
Keep Rocking Suzie. Love and respect ❤🎶🎸
Saw Suzi at the Summer Gardens in Port Dover in the early '70's, as well as.her.brother.
Had an 8 track tape of Suzi Quatro back in the 70's still have it.
Concerning the leather jumpsuit..."Just because you CAN, doesn't mean you should."
Just "TOP NOTCH" . Suzi is IRREPLACEABLE . Thank you Ma'am for choosing the PROFESSIONS that you did . Much Respect and Blessings to you and your family . 💞🤠🖖
Suzi is great. Im the unfading fan of her. Love Suzi
A true pioneer still at it!
I seen Suzy in new Orleans she backed up Alice cooper she was dressed in in that famous black leather one piece jump suit
You lucky b***d! 🏴
Good story
Great memories 🙂
How kind.
She had a huge pad in Great Waltham, just up the road from us (Broomfield, Chelmsford), for a number of years. She often used to go to the bakers on The Parade, Broomfield Road; my wife saw her there many times in the queue! I think she moved on from there about five or six years back.
Before so many of the other noted women Rockers, there was Suzi.
Absolutely fabulous xx
Geez Suzi rocks!!! I want her to come to Nebraska!!!
That wasn,t very good. Time take it,s tole. Wrong clothes as well. Believe you me , sbe lifted a few quilts years ago !!
The holy trinity back in the day.......Suzi Quatro, Sally James and Felicity Kendall.
My dirty teenager thoughts too. And Ena Sharples, Nora Battey and the rest of the 70's sex goddesses
leather tuscadaro is how I remember her most in the 70’s happy days pinky’s younger sister 🤷♂️🤔🥰👍
Can she still can the can? Damn right she can!
Keep on rocking Suzi Q.
The can was most definitely well canned. Still awesome after all these years!
Thanks for commenting🤘. What a great, nostalgic feeling to listen to this song. That thumping riff made everyone’s ears prick up.
Yep,67 year old biker, the soundtrack of
my teenage years, Keep on rockln.
hit in france!
Year, she`s still rocking, forever young and much loved. Our Suzy.
My goddess
Sajnos, borzasztó :(. Tudni kellen méltósággal abbahagyni! Mert így csak agy pufók nagymamama bőrcuccban szánalmas produkciója lesz!
Wow. Never been a fan, but she's got it, no doubt! This woman is 4 years older than me and still rocking.
Joan Jett stole her "scream" from Suzi
Yeah, she’s got it alright. I hope it’s not catching though. This is embarrassingly bad. Time to learn crocheting or knitting Suzie. Retire gracefully while you still have a good fan base. At least you’ll go out with a bang and not a whimper. Nothing personal honey.

I love Suzi quatro, she is great.
I think Suzi will be 72 in June this year.
I bought the Can the Can album in 1973 when I was 12.
Yeah she's 4 months older than me......I was 23 when you were 12!!
Hey, I was 12 in 1973 as well. Suzi was huge when I was a kid. Remember her guest appearances in "Happy Days" as Leather Tuscadero? Maybe it's time to ditch the leather pants though??
Loved her growing up, the soundtrack to my teenage years, too many idiot haters here, still fantastic in my opinion.

Painful to watch. Painful to listen to. These old rockers should leave their live performances where they belong. In the past.
Very cool!. There is still rock n roll for old people like me.
She's such a great Singer have love her music since I was 12 years old I am now 58 she's Great 👍
The only gig i ever got up on tables for, back in her early days, that gig went off, and she still is and always will be one of rocks LEGEND's

Hard to belive after all this years SQ is still a hidden secret to so many!!
Absolutely Agree. She was the first female rock star to really get it out there 🤘
Is this woman one of the great Rock Chicks, or what?. This is just what we need, Great rock 'n' roll, and no rap!!!
Please just call it a day now.
This is just dreadful.
Бабушка отжигает💪🤟
Well, she's just slightely taller than that Jazz Bass, but that energy and that voice, wow..
as if she was 6 feet tall...
Сузи Кватро как всегда на высоте!
Very Under rated Bassist!! She has groove dudes!! 😎🤟💥
I think, she played the bass on Cozy Powells DANCE WITH THE DEVIL, too. Many greetings from

It is so great to see her looking. and sounding so good after all these years!
Does Fonzi know?😆

Think you need to lose the suit Suzy. Your leather days are long gone.
I sure hope I have that kind of energy at 71

The best ♥️🌹 Suzi Quatro
She was a regular at IOM TT back in the 70`s and what a brilliant act.
IF you're too old to stand up and clap then you shouldn't be here - Suzi turns around to see the Hall has half emptied - lolz
Hi suzy I loved you back then and I am still a huge fan. I have all your greatest hits at home. You are the queen of rock
Thank you for answering me back much appreciated. Suzy is great for her age
OK, if this is what you like. Though the REAL talent in her family is her brother Michael Quatro ...Peace! 🎼❤☮

I had the opportunity to see her life years ago, keep on rocking suzi ❤️
Love you Suzi You are amazing ❌❤️❌
49 years ago, one Suzi came over from The States and became (In my opinion) the first female rocker
She was born on June 3, 1950. This would’ve been an impressive performance even if she was in her 20’s. She’s obviously taken care of herself. Considering that a bass guitar like hers is not a very large instrument, she must be pretty petite.
A fender jazz is huge lol..
She is proportional for a woman of almost 72. Not fat and she does seem to have taken care of herself. At 66,I am not as active as she seems to be.
She was and still is petite.
@@eveythingthatsadam Yes it is. !!
bigger than a Precision or Stratocaster.

Woooow que voz todavía tiene y su chispa angelical ahora gran señora preciosa 🎤🎸🎤🎸
Just wondering if Suzi still has the Fender Tele bass (with humbucker) she had back in the 70's. I used to have one, too.
How long ago ? Wow seems like yesterday I was listening to this being played as number one on Sunday night radio one …. Feeling quite old now 😂😂
oh my god!!! perfection by the queen!!!👑
Voice gone sadly.
Looks like Suzi has fun. A living legend.
I was there and she was amazing, so glad this video came up on my feed!
Thank you!
We were there too! She was fantastic, go Suzi! X
I Love Albert. His hometown ist my hometown. And I really Love the Performance of Suzi. She's my age and I do feel Like her. Every age ist great.
Iwas there that night it was absolutely awesome
the inspiration for the song Suzi Q and a hearthrob for many of us back in the day.. (And she was on Happy Days as well, what more could you want?)
I highly doubt that she was the “inspiration” for that song… Dale Hawkins wrote that in 1957, in Louisiana, and had a hit in ‘58 with it. Suzi is from Michigan, and she would have been about seven years old… ✌️🎶
🤣🤣 Inspired Suzi Q 😂😂
loved to have seen her, sadly cannot stand
I love this so much!!!!
